That's last year and I haven't checked signs yet.
I'd be surprised if SoulCalibur VI had models of the same engine, data size and complexity as the WWE 2K models.
For the person who's going to say Fire Pro creations don't take up the same amount of data as WWE 2K creations... I know, and I'm saying overall drive space of the individual user should still be the determining factor of how much stuff we can download from the community onto our personal computers.
Why can't we just have multiple save slots then? 1000 images sounds like a lot but if you just use 10 a CAW for 100 CAWs that leaves 0 for anything else.
What do you mean by multiple save slots? If it's what I think you mean, people achieve that by using multiple user accounts.
I reach the 1000-image limit before all my planned customs are in place too. I set up all the arenas, shows, titles and MITBs I want before going for the characters so I know I'm very unlikely to get all 100 in there before the images run out.
I jumped from PS2 to PS3 because it was a step up and I expected more in my games. If I played COD I knew on the next gen console I'd get a better version of the game. More cars in the street and so on. I made the same jump from console all together to PC for the same reason. I wanted better versions of the games. Sometimes all that means is little stuff like PC having better graphics. Its sad but true that many sports games have better versions on console.. and then give PC the 'last gen' version. I've even seen this with 2K games like NBA 2K in recent years. EA had done it with FIFA. Everyone doesn't get the same game all the time. Even with sports games. It's accepted that if you have a last gen console, your version of the game might not be as good as the current gen version. People accept that, so why is it wrong to accept that more capable hardware on PC should also mean better versions of the software? PC games should be held back to match the console versions? We don't accept that for graphics, why accept it for save slots? I'm not asking WWE 2K to give PC players more modes or more wrestlers on their games vs console. I'm just asking them to do what games life Fire Pro Wrestling World already do (on a lot less of a budget)... and let us download as much community creation content as our drives can hold. WWE is a multi billion dollar company, & 2K isn't hard up for money either. The money is there to program in the ability for PC players to be able to download more CC content. Even if for some reason its not as much content as the individual players PC drive can hold. I feel like I'm making valid, sane points.
But now you can put less pictures on them so there is a step back in there too!
On Xbox every game gets 5GB of reserved Space on the HD don't know how much it is on PS but i think that is what limiting the Ammount of Created things.
Don't know why it is there, maybe because of the cloud.
The save file itself has a max file size in addition to the other limits imposed on it. It's possible to fill the file size before hitting 1,000 images and 100 CAWs. Even console players have access to removable storage. So there's no good reason to limit us to one save file per account. I shouldn't have to create alternate accounts to get more CAWs or images anyway. Saying so isn't even remotely a solution because 2K's unlock all DLCs don't unlock all anymore. I still have to grind the game out in alt accounts to unlock things required for CAWs.
Just do away with the idea of 1 save file per account. Especially with each save file having the same max file size. Instead of creating a new account for a fresh save I should just be able to create another save file or swap to a different one. Ideally find out a way to separate custom content into its own saves so people can just swap between them for caw rosters.
