Will not save any progress in Universe, MyGM or MyRISE modes

I have started each of the game modes and, while they play and run just fine, I am unable to save any progress when I exit the modes. When I return to the main menu and then start up Universe, MyGM or MyRISE, the save slots are empty and I have to start from scratch again.

As of right now, I can play one-off matches or I can start one of the modes, but I can't maintain any progression I make in them. I thought it was something to do with SteamCloud saves, but disabling that does not help. MyFACTION works just fine, but that isn't what I'm wanting to play.

My system specs are the following:

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8750H CPU @ 2.20GHz
RAM 16.0 GB
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
Disc - 500 GB SSD

Any help getting this game to save my progress would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have run the game as both an administrator and not and the results are always the same. I get no save files to work, no progress is ever made. It does not matter if I just start a save file or if I play the game for hours. If I ever back out of the mode and go back to the main menu, the Universe, MyGM and MyRISE modes reset.

I am now finding that the game has not saved my progress in the training center tutorial. It constantly asks me if I want to complete the tutorial. I have always said no as I did that the first time playing. But I went ahead and tried it and it was like starting over too.

I am having the exact issue!

I received a response from 2K Support and their suggestion was to perform a cache clear and double check that my Windows ID did not contain any special characters.

I checked and tried everything they told me to do and no save files exist in any of the modes.
