Is there a way to make the PS4 controller work with the PS4 controller icons via Bluetooth?
Interesting, that's how I use my PS4 Bluetooth controller. You could maybe try removing it and then pairing it again. Worth a shot.
However check in the main the controller settings in the main steam settings;
Under Playstation Controller Support I have "Enabled in Games w/o Support"
and
"Enable Guide Button Chords for controllers" on
Everything else is off.
Let me know.
In properties > "Use default settings" command
It's a control configurator, I don't know if you have to touch anything.
Hmm, I might be out of ideas. My PS4 controller works with this game with these settings.
Even though in the Steam Library page for WWE 2K24 it says "controller not supported" it works.
One other thing, if I play a different game with the controller before WWE 2k24 I always have to turn the controller off and then on again.
Do you get the PS4 controller icons when playing via Bluetooth?
The PS4 controller works for me but with the Xbox controller icons via Bluetooth,
but with the cable I get the PS4 icons.
I sure do.
With steam input enabled sometimes I would get xbox icons, and it made things quite confusing. But with those settings I showed you, I always get the Playstation icons now.
Do you have the DS4Windows app?
I don't have the DS4Windows app.
Do you have it?
Let's see if that's the reason.
Could be the reason. I don't actually run it but I was just wondering if there was some setting there that sticks, even if the app is not running.
In the DS4Windows settings there is an option that is important. It says "Hide DS4 Controller." You should switch that one off.
Otherwise my profile settings are just default.
Who knows, you might be able to get things working if you play with DS4Windows running.
There is another app like this that requires a $5 donation or something, and is supposed to be very good, but I can't recall the name :(
In regedit its under HKEY users :> \System\CurrentControlSet\Control\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\OEM\
OEM name :> "Controller (Xbox one) " :< Change controller to whatever you want. XBOX 360, Logitech Duel Shock. Whatever you want it to be and it will trick your game into thinking THAT'S what you are using. Try inputting "Controller (DS4)" into that box instead of Xbox 360 or Xbox one.
Or try :> https://ds4-windows.com/ :< a playstation button mapper for PC.
