Is there a better WWE 2K game?
I've been noticing that there are so many mostly positive and mixed reviews in many WWE 2K games. Are there any good ones?

Generally, except for 2K20, all of the 2K games are received rather well overall. It's just that there are issues within those games for some that bring it negative reviews, usually to do with the online portion. A lot of people give a negative review for a singular issue that might not even concern you.

The games are delisted soon after the servers go down, so it might be easier to just read through the reviews and ignore the summary so you can get an idea of why others think what they do.
This one is the best 2k game they ever released, it’s just pretty buggy

Whats is grating is a lot of the bugs are left over from '23, or even '22. This just shows 2K don't give a tinkers about a quality product, just as long as the can resell the same buggy mess year in, year out.
It has many good features, though 2K removed features that were present in past iterations and brought them back. That said, many features that have been removed, should never have been removed in the first place. Many options in creating an entrance are lacking and not organized for a fluid gaming experience as it was in the past. Plus they focused so much on MyFaction pulling in more revenue, that it cheapened the experience with grinding for a fraction of a fraction of a chance to get a new wrestler unlocked, which is terrible. They should have focused on a more immersed universe mode. They should have made way better features for making stables (more members, more entrances, more in game interactions).
There should also be more multiple title entrances (more double title templates and more triple title templates).
The game is buggy, but not bad overall. 2K has definitely become the new EA and have forgotten what brought them to the dance, when it comes to making wrestling games.
I like the three levels of blood feature which was brought back from one of the older SvR titles.

This one to me is the overall best that I've played. It just crashes a lot and the online works 10% of the time. 2k19 is also very good and doesn't constantly crash, but I don't know how you can buy that ggame these days.

I feel like 2k24 was a massive step up in quality in every format but bugs. 2k23 felt almost bug less.

Played since 2K18,
honestly they all have the same vibe, so if you are trying to find that vibe that is missing, just playing another one of these games isn't going to be what you was looking for.

Aside from the bugs in 2K20 I liked 2K20, MyPlayer. However it wasn't enough then, still not enough and I don't expect 2K25 to be enough either. They all share this same vibe.

My take on 2K18 to now is MIXED. not good not bad, which is pretty bad. because games easily good reviews it takes an arm and a leg to get bad and mixed takes a bit of effort to happen too.

I find myself continuing to go back to Wrestlemania XIX Day of Reckoning 2 on Gamecube. SvR SvR 2006, SvR 2009
and I'm trying to find the one where you can set the AI difficulty per AI not all AI are hard or easy, you can make an AI hard and different one easy. I think its the xbox version.

A lot of small things, contribute to the vibe, its not 1 thing, its a lot of things missing.
I'll come back to 2K20 every now and then, but they don't fix their old games so no reason to play the old ones especially if they bugged. 2K19 is bugged in something.

I bought 2K14 I think it was when I was looking back into WWE games, that game was bugged I couldn't even start it or something.

So part of the issue is, is the game still got bugs?
Honestly a lot of issues, bugs. They leave it in bugged state too.

But regardless of bugs, the games arent even better than 00s-10. Its a lot of small things they don't do in these games.

Am I looking forward to 2K25 sure am, expectations? Very low. Just because I have expectations doesn't mean I'm going to put my reviews at low expectations as well.

Why expectations low? I been playing these pretty consistent since 2018, so I already seen not much progress year after year. Snail pace and sometimes not in the right direction.

Its not like HCTP super awesome, one year later, SvR great game, SvR 2006 next year, AMAZING wow. its not like these days, its snail and sometimes in the wrong direction.
AND back then, they have a totally new game per console like Wrestlemania XIX Day of Reckoning along with the PS games like SvR 2006,

so you had TWO (three including xbox per year) WWE games to decide from rather than ONE that you have today.

Honestly these 2K games, feels like if the xbox WWE games were done today, those were not fun.

I want the if PS2 WWE games vibes were done today
If the Gamecube WWE games vibes were done today
