Banned on wwe2k24

So I was handed a full online ban due to something I didn't do when the account was hacked sadly I don't know what this means too much has I never been banned from anything before dose this full online ban stop me from playing WWE2k25 with my mate on Xbox see the game though of buying it on Xbox but I don't know if the ban will follow over and stop me from playing online

Every game is separate as far as I can tell (on the game's forums it is at least).

So should be fine with the new one thank god sucks how you can't even appeal bans with 2k but thanks so the 120£ the pre order won't be a waste of money at all

I think you should be fine but the person that might know more or can get proper information from 2K would be the moderator for these game forums - I am sure they will chime in if I am incorrect as they are always watching; although, they could be more involved at the WWE 2K25 game forum so it may take some time but I think you will be fine.

The Devs don't come here but there is a Moderator that is always around → Zeokage

Can't miss them, they have an orange colored name and a star, right now, I see them in WWE 2K25 forum.

Now I wonder if 2K or R* support is worse as I never dealt with 2K before but R*, oh I can tell you, they can be the worst and almost robotic-like with copy/paste responses.

I honestly think all these games are separated because then the company would loss a plethora of profits if it was true to carry over all titles, unless if the account was like banned from the 2K servers but I never seen that before either, except maybe VAC but still I don't think that even works the same way across all Valve titles.

Thank I have asked the same question but when I emailed them last year when this hack happened they said the ban is final and tho I told them what happened they didn't care at all they said no there problem and I ask for my money back on the game seems I couldnt play it they said nope not happening so all in all I can say there support is horrible hopefully the 2k25 community discussions will have my answers thanks

Don't know my account was hacked and I was at work when I received the email I have not idle what they did

This is interesting, I wonder if having the linked accounts for xBox and Steam for 2K would trigger anything (I have not used a console in 8 years).

I do know that this game does NOT have cross-platform play (although, 2K has stated that it would be at some point but it is not).

So remember that you both need to be on either xBox or PC (idk wat 2K25 is doing or if it finally has the cross-platform feature, yet).

On xBox, this is sticky, you could see the game separated from it's counterparts OR the ban carries over by IP (not sure how 2K even handles bans), PC would be your only hope and the online version for this game is not great as compared to console servers and community.

You need to pick something with a refund option if you want to be really careful.

So, going by this forum post, someone was banned in WWE 2K22 but could use 2K23 services, so it seems this is a server ban not IP (best case scenario).

From the reddit post in the comments a guy was banned in a older 2k game and was still able to get access to the next just going to wait for some form of confirmation from a Dev tho just to make sure before I preorder it was able to find out a bit about what the hacker did to my account they downloaded banned content keep in mind I have not downloaded any my self like this most of the time I have downloaded starts to the game but never banned content so hopefully knowing this I be able to find out more
