There are also other things that seemingly can be at fault, there are many threads on the forum.
And which game edition do you have (i.e. 40 years of WrestleMania, Standard, Bray Wyatt Edition. etc...)?
Thank you.
rtx 4070 ti super
32gb ddr4
ive alternated from installing the game on my ssd to my hdd. the issue persists on both
i have the standard edition of the game
I have a running theory about DLSS.
I run both as Admin.
1. Disable the steam overlay from the properties menu for the game properties on steam. This allowed me to get back into the game
2. Set the Scaling Rendered to FSR 1.0, I never noticed any lock ups under this setting and only started getting them after changing to linear. I changed it back to FSR from linear and the game booted up without locking for the first time in weeks with steam overlay active.
Not sure which one may be causing the issue but i'd gamble on it being the linear graphics setting.
The problem is the system, your system has an issue with Steam Client particularly if you needed to turn off that Steam Overlay, I think it's the HTML Cache but not sure.
My system was missing the Users Group Permission, FSR1 crashes, and V-Sync crashes.
You should also state your CPU, GPU, OS build, and MOBO for user references (all my detailed system information is on my profile except Win10 is not stated which I use).
I really think this is dependent on CPU branding, model, and series but I cannot rule out lack of user maintenance for their systems either but Win11 update 24H2 has been confirmed as the culprit for 3 Win11 update 24H2 users on Intel processors.
