Honestly, I'd just use Parsec. You'll get a better result all around.

It’s Latency issues, and it’s even worse on console because most people play on WiFi. Basically if the net isn’t being held up by Ethernet by one or two people (if you’re playing a 1v1) then it just won’t connect most likely. This problem started ever since they changed the gameplay entirely (2K22), as well as upping details and graphics. Certain arenas play a factor as well

All falls down to 2K not spending money on dedicated servers and instead rely on the unstable, outdated P2P servers, where if one of the participants connections isn't the best then good luck getting into a successful game.
