If I want boxing gloves for my Muhammad Ali...
...Do I "just" buy the Trick Williams Iconic Moments persona card (weeks of money grinding!) or is there something more complicated to it?

I don't want to do ALL THAT GRINDING only to find out too late and at my expense that I was in the gutter, so to speak.

(There are a number of boxer CAWs I'd love to make and even if no one can download them, just putting a boxing gloved guy on Community Creations would be enormous prestige).

I actually kind of like bees. They made all this greenery out there possible. I wouldn't be eating so much delicious brocoli today if not for them. Any good and decent mother will tell you that Roman Reigns would never have been Undisputed Universal Champion if he hadn't eaten all his greens as a child.

Butterflies are OK too. No beef there.

Any insight on those boxing gloves though? I had Masked Dom persona's clothes before I got his card, so I'm not sure what the standards and logic are behind these MyFaction unlocks. The gloves were on my CAW parts list long before Trick Williams was a persona card too so that just makes things more confusing. Who knows how these things work? That's an actual question. If you know someone who knows, point me at them or something, pretty please!

I have not messed with Community Creations since my long ago TNA Knockouts saga/era but hopefully someone will have an answer for you, Captain Riddles.

Neat! Colored buttons!. This is what makes the Xbox controller superior to the DualSense.

Did you buy the card, and if so, how long did it take to grind up the points? Or did you gamble on random packs?

I have not used a Sony PS controller since 2016 and I still know the symbols and what they correspond to for/on xBox which is pretty odd. but not so odd; although, imo the xBox controllers are much, much more durable than Sony PS.

The shapes are still there but they removed the colors, which makes some prompts hard to make out clearly because they're all white, hollow shapes. The difference between a white square and a white circle is slight. They raised me from childhood to recognize these colors and associate them with shapes, and now they pull this stunt. What were they thinking?

I hear you about durability. I went through five DualShock 4's when it was still the latest model, and one of my DualSense's (I got a spare in a bundle) drifts so much that it's unusable outside of menus (thankfully most of my playtime on WWE 2K is in menus). Meanwhile my much, much older Xbox controller from like 3 generations ago only has a slight drift that goes away if I don't tilt the thumbstick to the left before going to neutral (it's sitting unused on my desk though because I've been playing Street Fighter and it's terrible for that).

No colors? :citizensurprised:

This is a new one and odd at that - stupid design.

How did you manage to get the gloves??

You need to get 5 "Oddity" cards (Boxing Gloves, Boxing Shorts, Cuban Link Chain, No Mercy Boots, Tricky Willy Hat) that unlocks the "Trick Williams '22" Persona card which has about less than 2% chance of obtaining or you can buy the "Persona" card on the Card Market for 130,000 MFP or 70,052 VC.

Yup! I ground money in the easier fights here and there, all the money-making live events, and probably most of it in Faction Wars. I had tons of tickets so it was no big, and my teams were mostly made up of cards from DLC superstar bundles (they're not good for badge bonuses though, but being at the highest rarity available at the time of their release they could compete just fine). I got the Faction Wars version of Demastered Asuka along the way, bought with Faction Wars credits, the only persona you can get from Faction Wars (I wish there were MOAR, because there's very little you want to buy in the Faction Wars Exchange).

I found grinding anything but easy fights (or Faction Wars if you can, team fights are awesome money and no MFP requirements) is a waste of time and effort because until you get the very best cards (by gambling with packs of course, because MONEY MONEY GIMME) all your points come from match actions, which you always have the same number of and also always award the same amount. MFP requirements in matches do nothing but increase difficulty artificially. It's also worthwhile to skip the more difficult or time-consuming match actions if you can get a win without taking body part damage, and that doing grindy "repeat this move X times" daily challenges in just one match instead of several will just put you at risk of taking body part damage which will essentially cut your daily challenge points bonus by 4/5.

It took a little over a month to get enough points to buy Iconic Moments Trick Williams '22 off the store.

Don't bother with oddities because it will just cost you TONS of money buying packs. You would get lots of cards along the way though, I GUESS. Personas from oddities are only for billionaire playboy philanthropists and those who only gamble if they're going to win.

Edit: and this reminds me, I forgot to put a boxing-gloved guy on Community Creations. Oops! I guess it's the journey, not the destination.
