2K actually has a present for us MyFaction losers, just in time for the brawlidays; namely, this month's Smash and Stash live event. It's always an easy fight with some neat rewards to grind for an hour or two, but this one is especially so: you get to be any of your male superstars and your opponent is a bronze-rarity stand-in for every Saint Nick equivalent in world history. And the rewards are wondrous: one each of the 7 most recent pack types, each of which can drop Man Bun Roman Reigns and the last one can actually drop two, plus more in the persona-rich and galaxy opal-loaded tier 1's. NO tokens, because tokens are lame (seriously, unless you've been grinding MyFaction since day 1, you're never going to get anything with tokens this late into the game).

I have obtained 350K MFP within 6 weeks - would be more if "MyFraction Wars" wasn't crashing mid-end of match during the First Round thus stealing my tickets.

I've actually had SOME luck with Faction Wars, not getting TOO MANY crashes and a lucky early encounter with Demastered Asuka. For a long time though, steel cage matches were my bane. I got like five in a row as the very first space on the board, and I lost every one of them.

I am waiting until the end in hopes of the prices dropping in the "Card Market" for those "Persona" cards but I also hope 2K does the proper thing and unlocks all those Play Mode locked personas when the servers shut down although I am not holding my breath for that to happen at all.

"Fraction Wars" cage matches usually allow for submission so I just use Lex - if you can do the "Proving Grounds" cage matches on Legendary, the cage matches are simpler on "Fraction Wars" - the trick is to make the movements/moves fluid enough where you do not have to reposition the opponents body which gives them time to reverse and never, ever use the same move three times or the same light/heavy move twice-in-a-row later in matches - stay on top of the opponent, even a Galaxy Opal shall fall to a gold card.

What gets me are these 5 minute time limit matches in "Live Events" where all I needed was 1 more second but the stupid referee is out-of-position, seemingly on purpose.

I was Kane '08 and Andre the Giant, my best cards at the time. I dominated tag team matches but those two, while they can definitely PULL their own weight, they can't BEAR it (literally, in Andre's case; it's what killed him).

The super heavyweights gas easily, let the opponent come to you - never had issues with Kane or Taker; although, I only used André once and found him a bit too heavy-slow-style for my taste - I watched Hogan in Play Mode defeat me then go onto eliminate 4 other superstars (I believe it was an elimination 6-pack challenge) taking back the WWF World Heavyweight Championship (Golden Era belt) - cleanly, I was shocked - Jake The Snake almost won with a chair shot tho (he could taste his first title reign).

Okay, I just looked at this match in "Live Events" and I think this opponent might be a bit too easy but I am not sure.

Neato! I managed to get Wolfpac Kurt Hennig and Piper CM Punk personas from my packs, and enough MFP from duplicates to buy an extra Eras deluxe pack (containing nothing of note). Pretty nice haul!

But wow was Triton an absolutely disgusting jerk with reversals. I couldn't get far enough in a combo to do anything and when he fell out of the ring he just wouldn't come back if not on his own terms. Although I imagine if Saint Nick is going to visit 8 billion people in one night, he's got to have some MAD ninja skills.

If you are unsure, you can look at the cards in your Faction Management menu. Personas will have a golden icon on the right side. Or you can scroll through your wrestler select in other modes. If you happen upon any unfamiliar portraits those will be new unlocks.

Well, I have a "Persona" card (Sheamus) but I can also buy it in the "Card Market" for some reason.
