DO NOT USE DELETE ALL UNUSED IMAGES!

I don't know if anyone else has had this problem or will but whatever you do, DO NOT DELETE ALL UNUSED IMAGES IN THE DELETION UTILITY!

I did that like I always do to clean up images from things that got deleted that I'm not using anymore and it LITERALLY DELETED EVERY CUSTOM IMAGE IN THE GAME! I don't know if it's this new 1.12 patch that has caused this or what but this didn't happen in prior updates even with how broken this game is with each patch. The icing on the cake is that I can't open the game now either, it just infinitely loads on the black screen with the changing WWE logo. I was 8 YEARS into a Universe mode with some friends and if this is how this ends you won't be seeing me buy 2K25. DO BETTER 2K!

Has been a thing for at least 2 years now. Welcome to 2K. Only delete images separately by checking the "not used" status below the image preview.

With these WWE games, it is best to also manually back up your saves and have a few extra copies of them for different days as so much of the game has been buggy and broken the last few years that you might have to go back a few saves to get it working a game.

I didn't even know this was a problem people had honestly. I know the game is literally connected by strings at this point but I didn't expect a feature that I used multiple times for this game and 2K22 I believe, to just break the game.

Well I'll know that for the future I guess. Not like it matters now because my game is soft locked at start up it seems like. The then now forever plays then I just get black screen with the logo loading in the bottom right for 30+ minutes and nothing happens. Idek what to do now because I think I tried all the fixes at this point.

You might have to turn off cloud saves for the game and delete your current save and all the data in the 2315690 folder. You can make a back up of that folder before you delete it just to have but it sounds like your save is just broken and you will probably have to start over. Also verify integrity of the game files in the game properties in Steam under Installed Files and see if it finds any issues.

It also messes up the CAWs you have (since i used it, some have no hair and similiar crap).

It's been years since you could use Delete All Unused Images. it deletes those plus some random ones in use.

That has nothing to do with the topic. Those issues are related to glitches in the latest patch.
