Female MyRise - Start as the ace of the indie wrestling show TBD. Debut in WWE with your fellow indie friend. Play through 3 medium length routes/gimmicks. From time to time you'll play as your indie friend and her journey in NXT.
If any of these MyRise stories gets your interest then go for it, but get on a sale.
Relax, he didn't spoil anything. What he mentions is all established within the first 5 to 10 minutes. At least it's more info than my "it's fun" comment, which is subejctive.
The story is great for males as well but the unlocks are mostly suits. Blue suit, tan suit, suit with barely discernable patterns, and that kind of thing, which you already have a number of in the creation suite by default. There are basically two stories on the male side since at one point you can diverge so far from the beaten path that the rest of the game is almost completely different.
This actually turned me right off. I created a character with a gimmick and entrance etc that I wanted to play, only to have if forceably ignored for 1/2 the story. I want to play my character and gimmick, not someone else.
That is simply not possible in a game like this. What options do you have to "play your gimmick"? A costume and an entrance, and perhaps a few specific moves? And you want the game to feed you generic angles? No way you can fully play your gimmick in those. I'd much rather have the story give me a proper deep gimmick for the character I get. Being just able to change the look is fine.
You can't expect them to program 30 different gimmicks you could play. That would be an insane amount of work.
You know, within the bounds of the game I would have thought it pretty obvious I was referring to the costume and entrance, yes?
You don't need to be a genius to see the obvious, just a little common sense. Maybe for some people, not so common.
You... do realise a gimmick is more than just an entrance, right? Can't blame people for wanting a shallow experience. That's who games nowadays are made for. Lucky you.
Reading a post in it's entirety takes a bit of effort, I s'pose.
It would be better if there was the option of editing your gear in case you think you'd do a better job then the preassigned ones, but if that's what you're spending your time on, I advise to play universe? MyRise needs to be as scripted as possible imo. Just makes more sense. If you don't agree, that's your opinion.
You also win the women's title at the end of the women's MyRise.
