Why does it take SOOO many finishers to end a match?

Like before patch it wasn't that bad, maybe 2 at most would end the match. But like right now it takes at least like 5 f'ing finishers to end a normal match. I changed this and that, changed it back to default, it still takes so many finishers even with heavily damaged on the wrestlers...its just feels unreal when I'm trying to have matches realest as possible.


PS. I'm pretty much talking about Universal Mode.

Sliders are your friend. I like one finisher to be all that's needed. Brets Sharpshooter, Jakes DDT, Stone Colds Stunner. One and done. Someone might say the the game becomes a race to the finisher at that point, but that's what wrestling has historically been. 5 finishers in a match is crazy. I'd turn the game off or exit out the match by that point. I don't mind the occasional kick-out of the first finisher, but if that was every match I'd quit playing the game. Sliders.

I find that with default sliders, it often depends on who the other wrestler is. Some of the lower card are one and done. Other main event wrestlers need more.

I tried uppin' the sliders to max..and they still take more than 4 finishers..and that is an atleast..I don't know why it is happening, but it started to happen after patch for me. Other options work totally fine for me though it's just the finishers and special sliders not working at all.

Just throw out random pins from large moves during the match. Solves that problem.
