Worth to get or wait for sale?

Is it worth to get WWE 2k24 or wait for a sale? I have 2k22 on Steam which I got at sale back in 2022.

Then I'd suggest the basics because whether it's "worth it" is going to be based on your opinion.

Next is to make sure the game will work well on your PC. Some people seem to be having crashing issues for various reasons so take that into account when considering the timing of your purchase if you're going to get it.

I glanced at your profile. You just bought both Balatro and Dragons Dogma 2. Two of the best games that will come out of 2024. You should be good for a while lol. And you already have 426 games. If you're on the fence about getting WWE 2K24, I say don't jump yet. I like the game, but if I were in your position, I'd wait. Unless you just have the money and don't want to 'miss out' for too long. 2k23 is closer to 2K24 than it is to 2K22. So you might be able to save money and just get 2K23 as well for the time being. In many ways it's a better game than 2K24, but 2K24 is better than 2K23 in many ways too.

With these WWE games it is always best to wait for a sale especially if you can get something like the 40 Years of WrestleMania edition for around $60 or less as that way you have all the DLCs since 2K never gives the DLC for the Ultimate Editions a discount on Steam so it will always be $20.

Since a lot of the names you mentioned are older wrestlers, you will probably be a fan of some of the other DLC wrestlers that are planned so that is another reason to wait for a bigger discount on the 40 Years edition.

Which version are you looking to buy? Stone cold, Brett hart, warrior and some others are not available immediately in base game. You can get them by unlocking them in showcase though. I found it boring and immersion breaking so ended up just buying the dlc to unlock the lot. Just consider that before you buy.

I also bought the supercharger to unlock other characters so feels like now I have a full game. Consider that too.

I am undecided at the moment if it’s worth what I paid. Tbh I’m not sure what game these days is worth £50-£100 when you look at one man indie dev games.

If you want to play single player, it's on sale now, might as well get it. I refunded mine because I want to play other people when it released, and it wasn't working correctly. Was online fixed yet for anyone that has it?
