Steam Deck rapid battery drain issue with this game?

Hey, so I've had this weird issue with my Deck where while playing a WWE game, the battery drains faster than it should(mind you, it drains well enough even on the lowest settings, but I'm talking, like, going from 65% to 10% in, like, 2-3 minutes). I'm testing to see if other games do this, and while it's random when it happens, I've noticed it usually happened with either this gane or WWE 2K23.

Anyone else have this issue? Note: There are no errors showing in desktop mode, and battery health is at a neat 91%. Thank you in advance.

Normally that should be 2-3 hours, not minutes. That sounds like a hardware issue with your SteamDeck. Your battery specifically. You'd be better off notifying Valve of your issue

I did, and I'm trying to replicate the issue for them despite it being entirely random, so I'm trying to play games that are just as demanding if not a bit less than 2K24 to see if anything happens.

I should also note that on the lowest settings I might get maybe an hour and a half at best normally, but I haven't properly checked. It's an LCD model, btw.

I play exclusively on Deck, and dont have this problem. I did turn everything down and can get probably 2 hours of playtime in 2K.

Update: According to the Steam Deck Discord server(unofficial afaik), they've been getting daily comments about the LCD model's batterys acting up.

Turns out LCD Decks' batteries are uh...not very good rn. They're degrading much faster than they should.
