Black screen when selecting Play in main menu

I recently upgraded to a Steam Deck Oled and my game is freezing on a black screen whenever I select Play on the main menu. The background music still plays and in the corner there is only the input buttons but the game has no input response.

This game works perfectly fine on my original Steam Deck. Both decks are up to date and are using the same Proton version (Experimental). I also tried many different Proton 8GE and 9 versions to no avail. Also factory resetted the OLED deck and tried reinstalling the game twice. Lastly I moved the game from my original deck to the SD card, it still works great on the original deck but there is still the black screen when used in the OLED deck.

That reddit post makes me think it's more of a PC/Steam version issue rather than steam deck specfic. Any thoughts or suggestions on things to try?

I bought the game recently and now I am also having this issue. Tried reinstalling many times but didn't solve the issue. Did you solved it ?

Same issue here, although I found the cause on my end.
I have a (corrupted?) custom arena that I'm unable delete, my game either freezes in Deletion Utility or crashes in CAA.
Universe mode still works so I attempted to load the arena and it was the only one that is all dark and where all wrestlers are grey silhouettes.
I started a new save and that "fixed" the issue, so I'm convinced that specific Custom Arena was the cause. Maybe due to corrupted images or such.

I still have no solution on how to fix that issue without starting a new save file.
