THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE YOUR "qUaLiTy oF LiFe" year, where 2K barely added anything for the sake of "building on an already strong foundation", and here we are.
I try to give them the benefit of the doubt, but there's clearly no passion for the product here.

Soulless yearly disasters designed to provide the bare minimum to milk the fans, while not providing TOO much- because we need to have a scattering of things to add to 2K25, right? :D

Yeah, I got the error AGAIN after the "fix", and it will not disappear unless you delete everything. I figured it would happen, and I'm going to end up just returning this dumpster fire of a game. There doesn't seem to be any real multi-player audience for 2k anyway, so not really for me. Glad I waited a day.

having same issues i assume being the weekend and full release the servers are on fire, so im not doing anything progression wise or creation wise till things improve and just running a couple of matches in exhibition till things improve somehow, either way its not good for a launch consdering the price on the packages

Ever think maybe they're having to do, or trying to do, some back end work to potentially make it a better experience for people on PC? It's literally launch week, why are we getting this bent out of shape. It turned out to be a really fun wrestling game this year, hence the reason people like you and I get mad when we are unable to play it. I'm sure they see its potential and are trying to iron out the kinks. I played a 1v1 online match in MF last night and it stuttered every 3 seconds. Not desync, not lag, but literally hitched every 3-4 seconds and depending on what was happening, that might cause me to miss a reversal window. So, that is pretty important too. Maybe they are doing server maintenance. It has to be done sometime with the servers inaccessible, so maybe they figured right now. But I'm about to launch the game and see what I can or can't play. I enjoy showcase and offline matches outside of any mode, and its still the best wrestling game we can play...sooooo. Stop just angrily saying its a soulless game, when the reason you're mad is because you want to play it.

You're talking about a seperate issue. And had you waited til the patch and not hit yes on that error you would not have lost your progress. Thats what I and a lot of others had to do. It was about 12 hours in total we had to wait for a fix. I know, end of the world.

I just launched the game btw and beyond an unusually long loading screen while it connected to the servers, it finally went through and all modes are accessible. I also haven't lost any data at all even since early access because I didn't rush the error screen and overwrite my save file like a lot of people did.

same error here, first I lost all my progress except for myFaction, now I cant even access myFaction anymore. GG

No. I got both errors, and the data wipe happened again today ontop of the other error. AND now My Faction was erased in addition to the other errors. Short of a miracle or some great game play I'm missing, I am 100% refunding this garbage game. The Steam sale is next week, and there are a ton of single player games that work that I'll buy for half of what this costs.
