if you go solo the evade is a real problem but redirect really helps
also there is a consumable that give you a special move card ( you move enemy don't work), and a special attack (you attack they don't counter) i find that consumable really help in that fight.
and also the south side of hte map is a really big void zone, you can now use the fact they will always try to move to target you to help them self move near the void zone so you can move them out of the map.
They don't move if you move with attacks.
You can draw them away with a character that's further away, then move another character to draw them back, stranding them in between your characters where they hit nothing.
Jump Attack, Front kick and other cards that move you helps to create more distance than they can cover.
Or you ignore the mechanics and go massive counter deck with scale mail to reduce incoming physical damage by 50%
General stuff:
- Destroying the first Pillar reduces the range of the auto attack-evade demon from 2 to 1.
- Things that move you, things that move them, stun, and damage to kill the pillars.
-- Shove and stun, front kick deals with the counter demon.
-- Redirect is your friend against the evade demon. If I'm not wrong Throws can't be dodged
- Cloak of haste adds a dash/shift each turn to your hand,
- Upgraded shift and slip to move for 0 cost. (Use the free upgrade options in the campaign, as movement cards are with 120 some of the most expensive)
