Game crashing on beta build almost immidietly after hitting play?

I've never had crashing problems out of the beta and just today this started, just trying to figure out whats wrong.

Check to make sure you have the right runtime version of the beta. For example if you normal run the normal Steam version and selected the OculusXR beta (or the other way around) that could be the problem.

Maybe try a reinstall or a file verification if that's not the problem. This isn't a common issue so I'd suggest starting with the basics.

well i've tryed a reinstall and a file verification and i'm on the right runtime, cause i run it through steam vr and have that runtime selected for the beta,
