Tactical Assault VR

Tactical Assault VR

Should I buy it on pc?
I have tactical assault vr on my meta quest 3. Are their any benefits of buying it on pc/steam instead?

pc gets custom names, the graphics proof of concept, access to the docucam and more povs, and 8 player lobbies

Thanks. But standalone quest has 10 player lobbies. I might buy it on pc once the advanced graphics gets more optimized.

The 10 player lobbies are PvP and crossplay. The 8 player PC lobbies are PvE where the crossplay ones are 6 players. PC lobbies also have higher enemy counts.

the graphics arent going to improve from low poly if thats what you are saying, but other graphics qol stuff might get added, but like fromk said, the 10 player lobbies are pvp exclusive, the 8 player lobbies are pcvr coop, and the 6 player lobbies you seem to be willing to stick to are crossplay coop
the pcvr lobbies tend to be dead either way, except milsims that run pcvr operations i doubt the pcvr server ever sees much use
The bump in resolution and much better anti-aliasing make it worth getting PCVR version over Quest standalone. I have both versions and it looks pretty bad on standalone.
Bought both versions, standalone and PCVR, but I don´t see too much of a difference. How do I optimize the PC version?

how are you connecting to pcvr?
what are your settings in graphics (iirc)
what are your steamvr settings?
Honestly, if you're not creating content, I'd say there's probably no reason to. The PC lobbies are never populated as I feel most of the community plays on standalone headsets vs. dedicated PC setups

I have both PC/Meta 2 and I can say:

PC: better graphics

Meta: since you can play without a cable in your head you have better movement around you and graphics suffer a little

I usually prefer meta to avoid cable for better movement
with a cable manager like kiwi design has, you dont have to worry about the cable limiting your 360 movement, but if you turn too much it does twist the cable

FOR PCVR without cable, just get Virtual Desktop.

go to VRDesktop.net and learn all about it.

I use it for all my PC gaming, including DCS flight sim, Contractors, Onward, and more
