If you let the Fragmenter process a piece of ore that yields more than two stacks, once it's finished, if you pick the fragmenter up with shift-click, it drops a crate of two stacks of whatever ore and the piece it was processing. When you put the Fragmenter back down, it picks up that piece and the yield will be the same as before, but now you got two stacks of ore for free.
