YOUR BEST MAIN BASE LOCATION TO GET ACCESS TO EVERY BIOME ?
I'm at the end, beated every boss in every biomes and almost finished every quests. Got 2 fusion cores working and getting to the third one. My main base has always been in the swamp near the oil patch (closest to the ocean trader)... but it's a long way to get to the desert biome to get more gold and fluorine (I know I can get gold wiring by scrapping zeus missile dropped in the artic biome btw). So... what would be your recommendation for the most efficient location for the main base ? Where have you settled in the end game ?

have U unlocked flying parts?
if so, then travelling between bases is almost no prob;lem, planes are faster than boats and more efficient in cargo supplying xD

I ended up going back to the forest, just for the aesthetics, no one location is close to everything really. I have smaller sub bases in the different biomes.

As I said I'm in the end game so yes I unlocked flying part. At some point... you may want to spend less time flying all around... hence my interrogation.

Yeah... it seems the map is conceived so there is no "ideal location" to get closer to everything. I thought about having a base in the middle of the ocean inside the triangle formed with artic, desert and swamp biome...

I built my main base in the swamp on the large beach just after you arrive from the sea trader. You get saline, acid and oil all in one spot (managed to get three extractors onto the oil well).
Sub base in the arctic for hunting techs, they seem to have the best component mix for copper, copper ingots and gold wire. The rest is good money. There is also oil and titanium.
Sub base in the desert, oil, gold, diamond and fluorine, but go I go there less frequently.
Forest is good for mining Silicate in peace, since the techs are quite small and feeble, more like swatting flies :) Sometime I also mine copper, have found some big ones with good yield.
I only use boosters to cargo things back to the main base, don't bother with boats and planes at this point.

this could've work, if sea techs wouldn't constantly attack it, and now we don't have ANY acive possibilities to defend our bases

...in first TT there is a way o turn our other techs into immobile base turrets xD

Did you find double wind generators output area next to swamp base? If not, Its just across the river under the cliffs.

If you want more oil , try placing additional extractors upside down. I had 5 or 6 in desert before they added oil to other biomes.
