Enemy Spawns in 0.6.2.3
TL'DR: My opinion of unending enemies falling from the sky (I don't like it and I feel it adds monotony to the gameplay).
This update now has enemy 'Techs falling from the sky, like Terratech original. I just wanted to voice my opinion on this, because I feel strongly about it.
No matter where I am or what I'm trying to accomplish, enemy 'Techs fall from the sky in my approximate path.
I feel like I am constantly having to fight or flee all the time. I did not have that feeling before this update. It doesn't matter where I go - they're falling there.
I liked having a fair idea of where the enemies were likely to be, and I could pounce on them or avoid them as my needs commanded.
But now they're always appearing all about me, and rushing to attack as soon as they land. Forever and always, everywhere I go.
There's not anything wrong with that - i'm sure many players love it. But I just wanted to voice that at least one of us dislikes the repetition of constant encounters.
The predictability of encounters is the only reason why I stopped playing the original Terratech.

I wish it would be like once every 30 minutes or possibly even 1 hour? But not as much as it is right now, yeah. Option buttons would be nice, and are probably on their way as we speak.

While we're at it, both timer and how strong the hunters are would be nice. once every hour a dangerous hunter spawns? Yea that sounds like a good mix-up from the usual weaker enemies.

Yes the unlimited falling enemies from the sky is crap, especially when it drops hordes of techs together.

Just coming back after being away - and while enemies air-dropping in again is kinda cool - there needs to be restraints - they're dropping right inside my base and far too often =\

They do drop so often, that their drop zones are now huge craters in the ground, and the techs get stuck for some good time. My tank tech nicely unstucks them with 1-2 cannon blasts.
This high rate of respawns is the reason I got 3 Si3 full with metals after I choke the scrapper with their parts.
Once the plane is craftable their existence can be ignored for the duration of the air travel. Any other activity will faceplant you in some tech gang.
