Cap on fusion cores?
Can anyone confirm the current fusion core cap? I read (though can't find where) that it was 3?

Before I got farming for more gold.

We have 10 on our base, and it seems we can still add more. Btw-- it is now to where players can share cores as long as they are on the same base. We have 3 tech yards on our base and all have access to the 10 cores

Thanks, will add a 4th and see what happens (I play solo)

Though, no idea how I am supposed to power them, with batteries not working, and turbines costing an insane 24 polyplastic each.

Use the diesel generator, you can make them with organics. We have a large silo hooked to our refinery and just keep all the organics in there. Then, have another silo to our diesel generators to put them in to use. Also, if you have the ability to add a 2nd player-- each time they join, they get boot straps. We have probably 50 of them built up now

Hmm, wondering if my wife's work laptop could run it with family sharing, just to spam re-joining, until they fix the power system.

You will have to buy it again, with family sharing- only 1 player can use the game at a time. And, you will have to be active for her to join. But, it should work if you buy it again. I play on a acer nitro 5 hooked to my TV, and bought terratech worlds on my steam. My fiance plays on an acer nitro 600 (I think that's the name of it) gaming pc with his steam account and has bought the game on his also.

So, a little testing. It appears to be the same as before, so 1st core, you need 1, second core, you need 2, third core, 3, and so on.

to be more precise:
1 ore needs ONLY ONE
2 core needs ANOTHER TWO, together THREE
3 one needs ANOTHER THREE, together SIX,
and that go on xD

So far there is no hardcap on cores.
The n-th core needs n-amouts of core modules so it quickly reaches a point that only extreme longtime players or cheaters can reach.

Imagine paying 400 goldwires for putting down enough core modules for core 20. You'll get enough iron and copper to almost never worry about if you use a scrapper.
Attempting to mine so much gold is just not viable, scrapping is better.

Energy with wind turbines is a lesser problem, altough you'll need tons of copper for the polyplastic.
Silicia needs far more work as you can't just farm with along with everything else.

That's what I said, language, maybe.

I only scrap, I just drive up and down the coast wiping out desert techs, scrap everything. All the copper, iron and ali you can eat, plus gold wire from the double armour plates, and most T5+ weapons.

Gold wire is not what is slowing me down, power is. The cost of wind turbines is obscene.

Silica is stupidly easy, just set the (whatever it is called) next to the node, undermine the nodes and it pops right in, 300- 1750 each time. Oil is annoying, because it is so slow, but AFKing while it is running works-ish. Titanium is annoying too. You can't get away from messing about.

You're aware that you can fit 3-4 extractors on a single patch of oil?

Yup, still slow. I need about 50 wind turbines.

wind turbines are sh*t far from beginning, only in demo they're efficient enough to be playable...

now it's pain in the butt that if You want steady and unstopped power to make progress and upgrade TECH/base further, You have to mine (or scrap) like crazy...

...and power supply from one wind turbine is just a joke....
