Diamonds?

I have the MK5 scanner, I have the beacon layer, I have the scanning module, that negates interference. I have killed every boss, including desert biome.

I have been all over the desert, not a single diamond ping, what am I missing?

For me they are abundant for the little need you have, found in the underground in the desert.

Finally found some, the scanner is completely worthless, it doesn't pick up diamonds.

For others stuck, you will find it on some of the hills, in the desert, Kimberlite.

No idea about gold though...again, the scanner doesn't pick it up.

Actually it is. i found a bunch of diamonds in the desert using desert trader tech. scanner and the other tech i can't remember the name also with seamless thing that goes along with the scanner. if you have those three pieces installed in your techie you can pretty easy find diamonds and gold resources. most of the time diamonds are near gold deposits.

Can't remember having issues wirh finding either. I'm rather certain it was called diamond as long as its underground and is a farily small block, Kimberlite should be correcr once you find the rock.

Unlike diamonds, gold is more rare and you need megatons of it.

< idiot. Hadn't got the seem attachment on properly. Sorted now. Got loads of gold wiring stored up from farming desert techs, most top tier weapons scrap to gold wiring.

did you found out how to unlock the scrapper? i can't seem to unlock mine. even with all the required resources discovered

I found one in the desert (can't remember where) so stole it.
