how to remind the locations?

i found the sea trader at first atempt.
noticed the price of orca cab and gone back to harvest.
when i get the money i moved to sea again and found a snow island just near of my harbor that i never noticed. so surely not the good direction so i get to opposite and found a rocky continent probably what is named swamp.so i atempted to turn around for finding the sea trader and after 20min i gone at the starting beach without.
where is the sea trader.maybe i had a pink marker on radar because it was a mission nott remind but now when i look at the map i canot zoom out and know where i am in the world and as the starting icontinent is big i can randomluy find it back but i remind a bit that sea trader was not a continent but some tiny island group.
also noticed that i can put a marker sometime but never found what key i used for it.

The sea trader is on a little island north west of the forest trader. Or, if you prefer, you go to the northest point of the forest biome and then you go west on the sea... you can't miss it. North of the sea trader is the artic biome. West of the sea trader is the swamp biome. That's the next one you'll want to head to. Just west of the sea trader you'll find a AI green base on a beach... this is really an excellent spot to build a big base because there's an oil patch on the beach. This is an infinite source of energy. On just one oil patch, you can put 4 liquid extractors... then get 8 refineries which supply 4 diesel generator... with this, you get around 2600 energy. ;) Have fun !

Yes the pink marker was a quest marker, I don't think placing markers is a thing. As for the location, from the main island the swamp and sea trader are west. The sea trader is on the north east side of the swamp. An easy way to keep your heading while out on the ocean is to have the map open. If you hit M to open the map there are 5 bars that are on the outer edge of the circle. The indicators are similar to those of your tech yard just without the red X indicator on them (plus they don't say tech yard lol). Those 5 bars are the 5 traders (Starting island, Sea, Swamp, Snow, Desert). So if you need the sea trader, head west and it should be most northern indicator of the 2 that are west of the starter island.

ah ok their is one indicator on radar but since their is no description or tutorial about it i dont understood at all the radar.
their is on L key pedia that dont even make mention of it but sometime describe thing already covered in tutorial.

You're wrong, these indicators are closest "something" to You, e.g. it could be trader, bu if there's enemy base closer, hen it'll show way o it to You xD

I FOLLOWED THE WEST MARK AND FOUND NOT THE SEA TRADER.
i set a starting harbor at swamp and i get poisonned.
hopefully another shore with ennemy strong but stupid as ever is not poison.
will find it later im bored of the empty sea.

There are 2 markers to the west. If you head straight west you will always hit the swamp because the sea trader is north east of the swamp. When you are heading to the swamp be sure to pay attention to the markers, one of them will slowly move further north the closer you get. That is the sea trader.

Here (below) is a better view of which marker to follow. Red is the swamp trader, green is the sea trader, the one to the right of the sea trader (north) is the snow trader, the next one is the desert, and the south one is the starting island trader.

If true, oh well, but it doesn't seem to be the case for me. My tech yard is right outside of the range of an active base and it never shows up on the outer circle. Literally haven't taken over a single base yet (destroying the drum things) and none of them show up on the outer circle edge, I just get a fist icon on the actual map when it shows up on the terrain part.

i followed your first advice and reached the swamp and then i was lost . i continued to head int he direction of the edge marker and not successed.
is buying the sea trader orca cab is unlocking some mission ?

I think It's an objective locked purchase. I want to say it's unlocked by completing the mission to kill the swamp boss but I am not really sure. It's been weeks since I've done it.

As for the trader...if you reached the swamp then you already went to far. Again, the sea trader is north east of the swamp. If you are at the swamp, just head north until you reach the edge of the swamp and then head east. You will eventually see the island the sea trader is at. I recommend that you make an extra tech yard so you can place it at the sea trader once you do find it if you are having this much trouble navigating.

ah ok i searched west.despit advices...
the orca cab is exclusive to sea trader as another block of less importance.
but i see really few block of interest in my own shop.
their is no reason to buy more cab or scaner or lightnight rod after colecting one from loot so i wonder what the shop are for else a single unlock.
perso i dont remind to had buyed anything from them.
i finally found the personal marker its easy as middle mouse button and last during long..not sure how many time but i really need it and its not documented anywhere.

for orca cab U need only 50 oil drums, but for that U'll need oil from extractors, and for that the best is to go to swamp, near one of swamp bases, it's really near to sea shop and quite close to swamp trader xD

no it's not, just if U have enough materials, U can buy it xD

objective locked are specific tools (like terrain manipulator lightning gun, prototype flying cab, better cargo) and more parts of some type, like sea parts (unlocked after killing 50 woodlands techs)

i found the swamp with some acid lakes and an ore middle i canot laser gather.
not sure if their was oil i dont seen something revelant.
once i moved on a ground that got a destructive effect like moisture or fongic duno their is a icon like acid and water and i can wash it by rolling in sea.
but still unable to retrive the sea trader.im not reminding if it was far or near the swamp islands and i made the whole turn around it bored me 20min.
ak ok 50kill unlock thing i dont seen it in objective.

find base looking like docks and destroy there their fist xD

it's not that far from sea trader (from him just go further west)

near that base is oil deposit

visited the sea trader as mission and their was a base around.
without the marker and 10h ago i dont remind to had see the swamp nearby.and now i have 2 base at swamp i dont see the sea trader.the radar range is so short i canot even see remote islands.i can see a kind of beach harbor: is that it to sight west from ?
