I appreciate you looking to help.
In my case, I have 1010 blucks already. I've finished everything except for kill and resource missions.
So if I'm doing the right thing in the right place, there might be a mouse software related issue,
Hopping back and forth as I write this, I've found a workaround, but this is apparently a bug... not sure which of the "techs" carries the blame,
I'm using a logitech G600, a very common device.
I've set middle click on the mouse to be 'generic' and it's showing as Button 3 which is what it should be.
When set to use profiles stored on computer, it does not work with the middle click no matter what I've tried.
However, switching to on-board memory is working for now.
I've never run into a problem with any game like this. Every other button on the mouse works, and in both cases the middle click is configured exactly the same.
But the good news is I can buy what I want now.
I'm reporting this as a bug, hopefully they will have the bandwidth to look into this.
This is not a bug. Some items cannot be licenced and it says so on the licence. They are locked behind quests.
Edit: or maybe its your hardware freaking out. idk.
I wasn't trying to buy quest locked items.
I can fairly effectively rule out hardware freakout given this mouse has no problem for anything except middle click in this one game and clearly still works fine with onboard memory.
somehow though it seems the mouse middle click being referenced from code isn't coming across exactly the same when it is using onboard vs pc stored profiles.
It's possible Logitech could have the bug, but there is a bug in play here somewhere.
I think its because you dont accidentally buy something you dont want.
For some blocks you have to find them first still but that is shown in the description and the buy symbol is greyed out - not green - in the blockpedia.
