This game feels like a spiritual successor to Jacksmith
now that was a good game.

I hope you will add more content like

ranged weapons. bows arrows crossbows Slings
magic spells. staff enchating etc.

Armor: Chain mail Plate mail helmets gloves boots

and being able to Repair gear of adventurers for a fee. these feature would be so cool

I had to google Jacksmith. I'm definitely going to try to play it tonight. Repairing adventurer gear is definitely a possibility here.

you know, an easy entry to thrown weapons could be throwing knives, darts, and throwing stars, all one piece metal creations.

This I like very much. You could forge 20 at a time, throw them left handed if you aren't carrying a shield. It would only be a single weapon class with a blade only. I might not even make people have to forge them.....

Crossbows and bows are like armor, full expansion for this type of game. I'd need different model parts and assembly stations and tensioning minigames, different damage rules, carving for the stocks/bows.. I'm getting panicky just thinking about it :)

Played Jacksmith. Loved it. Simple and addictive. Waaaaaaay less asset creation and animation needed in 2D though, I can't imitate that level of content in a 3D $4 game.

bonus if you get the max upgraded runesmith, you could melt crystals to enchant entire batches of these thrown weapons. storm stun shurikens with my flaming sword? yes please.

I hadn't even thought of adding a base effect to weapons that were smelted with crystals. That's genius!

Easy trade off if I give them low stats as a material. I just need to scale it with conductivity and make sure it's not overwritten by runecarving.

I also love the idea of gating it behind a piece of equipment.
