Does anyone else hate this game?
Please only people who don't like it answer, everyone else can make their own thread about liking/loving it.

I used to like this quite a bit, but man that two year wait between Acts 3 and 4 really did a number on what I thought about the game. In hindsight I'm not entirely sure what I liked about the first three acts.
It's a good game and I like it and there's nothing you can do to stop me from posting about it in this thread.

Is such a thing even possible? :P

it is no longer a game ..... it is a visual novel.... I dont like to sit at a computer just to read

interesting to see what people would define a "visual novel" as if not a game. i think the argument as to what is/isn't a game is completely silly, as is that distinction—but if you're going by labels, you see the first thing that pops up when googling it says "a visual novel, also known as a sound novel, is an interactive game…"

krz is a lot more than just "reading" for me. text to hypertext!

i'd say 39 steps is a visual novel, this is a very light interactive game, got nothing to do with a visual novel since you can decide more? you can walk around, it's just more than just reading. But it still feels very.. bland to me.

That's what makes this game just okay to me, not great. If I wanted to spend hours reading and reading I'd lay in bed with a good book. I didn't buy this game to squint my eyes reading and reading and reading. Great, reading with cool sound effects yay!!

This game needs voice acting - would make it much much better at least for me.

I don't mind reading, but the slow walking and slow progression just annoy me so much.
Loved it from Act 1 to Act 3. Hated Act 4 which was actually unexpected at all. :/ Don't have any hope for the last part of the story.

I do think the 4th Act was the worst... imo the first was the best.

Was really disappointed finding the game was just a support for the writer's ramblings. It's gorgeous to look at, but there's only reading nonsense here, not much of a game.

Do you read books/novels, or are those not your thing either? :P
