ArtRage 4 Sale Ending 15th, Leaving Steam

Update: We were unable to extend the sale through Steam and have requested that ArtRage 4 be removed from the store. You will still be able to use your purchased copy, and register serials with us for the ArtRage 5 discount.

We have no control over exactly when ArtRage 4 is discontinued in the store. If you accidentally purchased at full price (US$49.90), we recommend you refund your purchase and buy directly from our website to get the sale price. If you prefer a Steam copy, then we cannot offer any partial discounts, as we have no direct access to the store end.

While we intend to run the sale until ArtRage 5 is released and ArtRage 4 is discontinued, the current sale will end on 15th January.

We have contacted Steam to extend the sale, but we can't do anything else from our end, so we're not sure exactly when it will go on sale again. If we cannot get the sale extended, we will be removing ArtRage 4 for sale as quickly as possible, to avoid anyone missing out on the end of release sale.

The sale on our website will continue uninterrupted.

Hi, is there a delay on registrying the product and getting the the discount. I just register 10 minutes ago, but the upgrade page still is telling me to register to upgrade.

Okay, sometimes the page doesn't refresh automatically (this is our member area, right?). Just refresh the page and it should update to display your serial.

The actual discount won't be available until ArtRage 5 is actually in our store, but will appear automatically next to all registered serials for ArtRage 4 then.

Yes, absolutely. The discount doesn't expire! If you don't use it by the time ArtRage 6 rolls around, the actual discount might change somehow, but it's going to be available for the lifetime of ArtRage 5.

If you are having trouble picking colors, open the settings for the color sampler tool. You might need to turn off (or on) the 'Canvas Lighting'.

Oh, much better ) But what with some stencils, if for example i place "mossy" and try use airbrush on it, i cant move cursor, he stop painting after microsecond, but if i start use airbrush outside and then go to "mossy", then all ok, but i need remove trail outside.

It's not supposed to do that. Send us an email at [e-mail] and we'll try and figure out what is happening. If you can include a small example painting so we can see all your settings, that would help. Also tell us what operating system and device you are using to draw.

As others have said in the past, leaving steam is a monumental mistake. I only heard about your software due to it being on Steam, and would only upgrade to ArtRage 5 through steam, as this is where I launch the program and have always used the program from.

The natural advertising power that you gained from being the only truly powerful art program available on steam was truly undermined by your team. Yes, I understand you are a very small team of about two programmers, but Steam should have been a priority, an obstacle worth tackling and figuring out how to navigate more fluently regarding your updates/sales, etc. moving forward with ArtRage 5 and beyond. Hands down.

Such an absolute shame. Goodbye ArtRage.

Sad to know was looking forward to buy ArtRage5 on Steam, now of cause this wont happened since I have no interest to buy from other sources. I'm only discovered you guys thanks to steam lol, well, I guess will wait till you come back on steam.

Will look for other software to use in mean time :)

Good program, Steam was doing pretty well when it comes to art-stuff, be it vidoes or software.
