Anyway to counter slience?
Its unbelievable annoying, i cant find any potion, spell, or items to counter silence, i stun the warlord and he will just cast silence again. eventually i cast him down with 2 spell crit when he only 50% hp.

But to be honest, this is the worst fight experience, unbelievable annoying for he simply use silence and i cant do anything, no such thing as strategy, and i feel it is deliberately designed to give nothing fight silence, thus make silence a easy way to add up difficulty

There is no 100% reliable way to counter this. You can stun the enemy but after stun passes it might choose to silence you again. There is also a late-game accessory that reduces silence duration by 50%.

I don't agree with the second part. At later stages of the game you have access to so many spells and your mana regen is so high you could just spam all spells and be done with any fight. Most fights with monsters with silence require a specific strategy like re-casting summon beforehand, using potions, using specific equipment, timing your spells correctly and so on.

ya i can wait few hours so i can cast big bang and nova kill everything, or i can drink potion to cure slience. the only thing get in my way is slience cant you see? generally a lazy way to prolong game progress, and when i get my hand on the anti slience accessroy, i wont need it

As stated earlier there is the rune of silence resistance at school level 41 to help with the silence. An option you can try to go for is a high defense build. Using time dilation to slow down time then swapping from mana equipment to defensive and physical damage can be useful to survive until the silence wears off. You can also go for the summoning school as having a summon in front of you will have the boss focus the summon first over you (usually).

I am not sure which destination has the warlord boss, but if you havent already. Getting to level 30 on each school as a primary gives you a very powerful buff to each school to help with beating those more difficult bosses.

There are ways to get pass it, what i mean is there is no way to counter silence. stun, poison, any other debuffs , you have a fix for them all, but no, no fix for silence, generally not making sense

and rune is not immune to silence, also as i stated, by the time i have it i no longer need it.

Yeah, i just mainly relied on potions to beat one of the silence enemy i was struggling with. It's doable. Don't just rely on the health potion, use just the berries and medicinal herb for healing as well. You can farm a lot of them when you have creatures.

If you dont want to deal with silence, I would recommend going lightning element and put all your strengthening into crit so you can blast through any enemy that blocks your path.

I can see the reason why it is in the game though. Spell casting is very powerful and silence is probably intended to force the player to try physical/def builds instead. But it makes the fight tedious. Either go the physical route or do so much damage it doesnt become an issue are the only real choices

As i stated many time i have ways to get pass, also as i stated many time "no counter to silence" i truly not sure why you keep giving build suggests which i dont need. My point is silence make fights annoying and prolong game progress in a lazy way, i already finished the game if not challenges which i dont think want to.

Craft enough health potions, buff yourself with potions and spells and it should be easy enough to pass the first boss.

Ok, there is no hard counter to silence. Is this a problem? No, it isn't. You completed the game already without a counter. I completed the main story yesterday and didn't find a single fight where silence made important fight unwinnable.

In normal fights:
1. (manual) If it is a long fight and you are silenced in the very beginning - leave and come back for a new fight.
2. (manual) If it is a short fight or enemy has few hp left - just finish him off with normal attacks.
3. (auto) Doesn't matter what type of fight - just die or win on auto, and start the next one.
In boss fights:
1. 20 seconds silence - just wait through it using healing potions and defense
2. Final boss 120 seconds silence+60 seconds doom when he has less than 30% hp - interrupt it with stun twice (spell in protection school and potion) and finish him off during that time. Basically a DPS check. You can even add 8000 damage from poison potions if you failed to remove 30k hp before he finally silenced you. And you can even wear an anti-doom necklace to remove the death timer and survive with potions. Do the battle in slow motion (Time Dilation) so that you can get extra time by interrupting in the last moment.

Even if silence doesn't have a hard counter there are still a lot of ways to deal with the situation where you get silenced.

That isn't the final boss

You are right, he was called the final boss and after him there was an epilogue of the main story or something but then we finally got to the Tournament stuff which I didn't try yet as I was in Dark element route. So yes, I better call him "the final boss of the main part of the story" or "the finall boss of the Dark element route". But there should be more bosses after him in other routes as it is clearly hinted you can participate in the tournament if you don't take Dark element at the very beginning, but I didn't get to them yet.
Serpentarius Apr 3, 2023 @ 6:21am
you can indeed participate in the tournament if you don't use Dark. Bit disappointed Dark doesn't get it's own epilogue and jsut a sudden "sorry no epilogue for you content ends here, have fun though. Since there are more upgrades to unlock in that area thats jsut off limits to Dark element users. Which, depending on the storylines you've done could actually help you out.
