Time dilation? Benifit of slowing time?
Hi guys

I was just wondering.. What's the benefit of slowing down time?
Seems to me like it's strictly a disadvantage, no?

You really only use it for boss fight. Some boss with annoying attack, e.g. has fast massive damage hit or long stunt debuff, mana freeze. It allow you to have time to react to it. put up more shield, or stunt boss, etc.

Are cooldowns also affected by the spell? Being twice as long I mean?

But as you stay it still allow for better reaction times I guess.. Very niche though :D

It really only got niche use, it affect the entire game time. research, production, cooldowns, in-game time counter, everything in the game

Not many people gonna use this spell. most will use it better cousin Time contraction: in crease time moving speed by +100%

Time Dilation has a use in bosses with gimmicks that has to be reacted too using expensive counters, like the water dragon and its stupid sapping. also there is one thign thats unaffected by Time Dilation; Manual recource gathering, so if you click fast enough (or use an auto cicker) time dilation can "increase" your mana regen tenfold if not more, allowing you to nuke bosses.

if you hold the button down it is an autoclicker...

Holding it down does indeed work but has a far lower limit than 90% of most autoclicker programs

Maybe it's my machine (always a possibility), but I've noticed most games, including this one, start to have issues if the click rate is set below once every 30 milliseconds. Because of that I tend to keep mine at 50..and if I did the maths right, I think that's about 1200 clicks per minute, so unless the hold option can reach even half that, it's just inferior in my mind.

(Granted I don't know how many of those clicks this game can actually keep track of and register, it's just the number I've found that works best across most games.)
