@ Xiz had no idea that crit works with spells too. Guess that would have made it so much easier.
Crits only affects spells that are affected by spell mirroring, and you CAN crit yourself in the case of reflects.
That sounds scary, but then again, my reflected spells always end in oneshotting me, crit or not. Usually going for fire element, which has tons of damage. Oh and I also found out that Spell Mirroring has a fixed duration and wont be cancelled by triggering the effect with a low damaging spell.
The easiest way to deal with spell mirroring is Nature, as all Nature Evocation spells ignore spell mirroring.
A. If close to a kill use a stun when they cast, usually won't cast 2 in a row
B. have 2 apprentice and weapon loadouts and just switch when you see it to max damage weapon and no direct damage spells
C. Nature and poison items, both bypass completely
I find SM annoying because of the slowdown and changeup but silence after a dispel will always be my bane :P
