Requesting Late Game Boss hints
Hi! Looking for hints to fight late-game bosses:
- Temple of Darkness F3 (I've seen a recommendation to have a stun build, and you need some sort of a belt for this, at which level will I get it? I have all skills 32+ already and 68 researchers)
- Ultimate illusion (he has something like 90% dodge and 150k health, maybe there is a way to dispel him or some special pet can help?)
- Other Ultimate skill bosses

the stun belt is 37 on conjuration and enchantment IIRC. As for ultimate Illusion, Nature Element Conjuration spells ignores ALL accuracy checks, including your own accuracy and opponents dodge.

For the other ultimates, I would usggest aiming for Ultimate Evocation next, because once you ahve that, your Big Bang spell will oneshot the other ultimates if you get Evocation to 60. Please note, Big Bang is subject to accuracy checks, so don't try it on Illusion guy.

my hints for all the late game bosses:
1: get evocation's ultimate boss storyline. you will need the extra damage.
2: have a "regular build" a "stun build" and an "I'm going to get silenced build"
3: pay attention to what they are about to cast. Time dilation helps a lot.
4: don't auto-use stuns or the last protection spell. keep them on quick cast slots.
5: keep a death protection necklace on hand for the temple of darkness
6: don't auto-cast evocation spells in the last area.
7; Try to get to 50 in all schools for the last area.

What is an anti silence build? Max hp and max damage + potions? Because getting silenced for 120 seconds sucks...-.-

My stun build is the closest you get to "Anti-Silence" since silence has a bit of a cast time and you can just repeatedly stun them out of it with that build.

Can anyone give me the description of their Stun build? Whip + Attach speed on the chest (Thief's Grab) + Belt + all possible Attack Speed upgrades from Strengthen? or am I missing something?

Don't forget enchantment spells that let you attack faster (quickness/physical augment, titan), illusion spell: slow, so you have a bigger time window to stun the enemy, dark squire summon for an additional chance to stun and alchemy speed/augmentation potions.

What Calm Koala said, with that build I've managed to get my attack speed under 0.2 seconds of delay, which is more than enough to stunlock EVERYTHING short of instant cast effects, which are really rare, in fact, I only know of 2 insta cast effects in the entire game.

I just got my dodge to 120% (need the extra 20 if the bosses have Eagle Eye) and became immortal. now I sloooowly widdle away at every boss until they die.

Not sure if it's helpful, but I overpowered the boss using Darkness element.
Just kept spamming Extinguish Life and used my two stuns to interrupt the worst attacks. Had all schools at about 32, same place as you.
When he silenced I healed through it using the two different health potions and berries--they each have their own cooldown timers.

the final bosses 1 hit kill damage shots plus silencing autohit plus doom is a really really annoying combination that requires paying attention so i'm probably never going to beat it, oh well.

I was able to beat it with a normal summon build that had lots of armor from bolster, safety wall and shield magic (along with 4 apprentices in the weakest 3 heals + antidote). I went into the battle with abomination and re-summoned at the 50k mark when they cast devil's wit. Requires lots of mana regent though (I filled monstium to max and enabled a lot of the mana cascades). Although it was done after an overnight leveling to get summoning to 48.

EDIT: Did it again for the second time and the summon isn't even needed if you have all the protection spells up. Manually spammed all my poison spells throughout the fight which allowed enough ticks to kill the last phase through the silence (needed to wear the doom protection item).

Seawolf, how did you achieve 120% dodge chance? The max I can get is 85% (Blurring Footwear + Night-dweller's Garb + Blur Spell). As far as I can see, there aren't any weapons that increase dodge nor are there any potions for it.

An indirect way to increase it is to spam Dazzle (-35% accuracy on enemies) but the cooldown is slightly longer than the effect duration so there is a gap where enemies can still hit you. The other way is to grind Illusion to 48 for mass blur but it only lasts 5 seconds and costs 18k mana, I doubt that is sustainable, and regardless I have only ever reached lvl 45.

I'm curious how you did it, it sounds like a fun way to "break" the game.

Explenation in the spoiler; The reason his dodge is so high is because of Ultimate Illusion, a passive you earn from an even you unlock with a VERY high illusion. It pits you against the Master of Illusion a 2nd time, win and it increases the power of your illusion spells, allowing 100+% dodge.

Likewise, you can get more dodge from an upgrade mechanic you can unlock in the Temple of Darkness from Death, which allow you to spend Montruarum to boost certain stats, including dodge.

Note, that some enemies have access to attacsk that bypasses accuracy checks so late game bosses can nullify this.
