Type Your Name? Dafuq?

Im guessing this is either a puzzle or something wrong with the game but I open the game up, it loads for a second gives the dev's icon and then shows me a extremly pixelated backround funny music and the barely legiable Type Your Name. I have been able to press ok by sheer accident but I cant type anything in the box. Please Help?

You have to leave your mouse cursor in the box as you type your name.

Thats the thing though, I dont have a mouse cursor. It doesnt exist. Ill boot it up again and try but...

Yeah no cursor exists on my screen. But I have no idea actually. I can run a multitude of other games though. Amnesia, Reus, and Civ 5 for example.

The game doesn't support intel gpus, at least not yet.

the box lightens when you hover over it. your cursor is probably just invisible

It's happening to me too,
I can see my cursor but it's stuck in one spot i can only move it slightly but it bouches back and can't type my name at all because of this

Exactly the same here.
I have nVidia GPU [GTX 1060] so it shouldn't be the issue mentioned in earlier posts. Nobody seems to have complained in nearly 5 years, and now both of us today—so I wonder is it some recent update to either the game, Steam, or Windows 10 [I'm on Win 10 1709].

The 'compatibility' fix mentioned in other similar threads worked for me. Shut down game [via Task Manager if necessary], then:
In Steam Game Library
R-click & select Properties
Select Betas tab
Choose the Compatibility option.

This will launch a small download, after which the mouse works properly.

same problem I dont think its just Intel blabla ♥♥♥♥.. I have AMD integrated graphics.

Compatibility option works for me, but the resolution plummets to something extremely low and unplayable which feels like 800x600. This is despite the fact that in settings it is correctly set to my monitor resolution (which is almost 3000x2000)
