I get the secret files but Achievements are not working

Pretty much that. I´ve restart the game twice to get the first secret room/file and nothing pop ups, no achievement, zero... Do i need to do something besides reaching the file, read it and go to a checkpoint?

Yep, I found the last one and nothing popped up, I can see in game that I've earned all achievements but on my profile and on the achievements page I'm still missing the last one!

I was able to get the first one, but none of the others will unlock. I thought maybe it had something to do with the most recent controller and big picture update patch, but it looks like this issue has been around longer than that.

Found all hidden messages but got only 5 achievements

I can confirm that the new patch broke this. I'll fix it as soon as I've managed to find some breakfast! The bug will only temporarily affect your achievement stats.

This should be fixed by the latest update!
Popups for previously collected achievements not registered by Steam will all display when starting the game for the first time after the update. After that things work as they should.

Thank you very much, I've just launched the game and I got the achievement!

Tested and now they work, BUT, they will only unlock if you got the files in your current save. So if you got them in a previous game but then started a new one, you need to get them again.

That's something we can't detect inside the game but there's a hacky way to get them back:

1. Create a new profile (Main menu -> Switch User -> New profile) and name it hotfix.
2. Close the game.
3. Open Documents/Facepalm Games/The Swapper 1000/hotfix.ini in Notepad.
4. Replace the contents of the file with the text below:

5. Save the file.
6. Start The Swapper.
7. Switch User -> Remove the hotfix profile.
