[FIX] Mouse Issue / Stuck On Name Screen

Hey! I've made a small guide with the solutions for most common problems, as I couldn't find anything similar here. Feel free to comment if you know any other bugs or fixes.

Out of curiosity, are the zipped files (for the non-steam fix) old versions of the game files before the release of the game patches?

I had issue with the mouse, managed to get to set a profile but even struggling through to changing resolution didn't help. Saw the thread to try compatability mode via Steam and still no luck (crashed out).
SOLUTION: find the profile on your local machine and delete any files with today's date (commonsettings, default, and <profile> if you got that far). then re-try compatability mode and it worked for me.

I don't have the compatibility option in the Betas tab. There is only the Opt out choice.
Any ideas what could fix this?

Edit: I checked that I had betas allowed in the Steam settings (they were), restarted steam, and looked for the Compatibility beta again and it was there. I dont understand what was wrong or what fixed it, but I'm happy.

I have tried changing the beta settings but it won't drop down in a menu for the beta settings so I am somewhat lost on how to fix the game

There is no option for settings
