EVERY version after, the console ports, the "Refine" remaster from the early 2000s which is also on Steam and on which this new version is based on had all censored artwork and removed some gameplay elements, mostly related to underage nudity.
This new version saw additional censorship with having new artwork that is even less risky then the already censored Refine version and also removed a few of the more controversial endings BUT only in the Playstation release. This PC version still has all the endings, artwork is still tamer though.
The art there is the original uncensored pixel art.

... The game is about a child... ???? What would you even want to be sexual??? And there is some mentions of sexual things in some endings, just not explicit depictions.
The original version for Japanese PCs (PC98), probably one of the earlier Japan only console releases, and a well known leaked development build of a proposed English DOS release had nudity. In vacation illustrations at the sea, the daughter would go swimming naked or the white shirt would be see-through. The DOS version in particular being a development build had cheat features and an outfit called the UN-Dress, which removed the clothing layer (the character being drawn nude with clothes on top like a paper doll.) The inability to strip her down is usually what people are talking about with censorship.
To a lesser extent there were some monster girls and mythical creatures with their boobs out, but they generally got a pass until there were official western releases.
The game is about a girl. She starts out as a child (10) but ages as time advances. The game ends when she turns 18, long past the time when sexuality becomes a major part of a girl's life.
But the game already explores this fairly thoroughly. At 15, as is common in most cultures (except maybe particularly dysfunctional ones, like Iran's or the USA's), she is considered to be sexually mature and this will be taken into account. That's when suitors start appearing in the game, when she can work at a bar known for having attractive girls serving patrons and keeping them company, or when she can wear a very sexy dress for the dance competition. Even before she's 15, there are a few enemies in the game that will attempt to sexually assault her if they defeat her. At 18 there are many endings where sex is a primary concern (a few where she's a sex worker and a few others where she's someone's mistress).
That's plenty of sexual content IMO. This isn't a porn game.
But to each their own. Maybe this poster wanted more, like a straight-up brothel job with explicit scenes. I'm sure quite a few people would like to play games like that.
But this just isn't that kind of game, and it's almost certainly never going to be. It's been out for over 30 years and every new version is more censored than the last.
If someone's looking for porn, look elsewhere.

It's entirely possible that having this pointed out to you is indeed making you feel uncomfortable. A lot of people would like to imagine that humans, on the day they turn 18, suddenly turn from children to adults and suddenly realize sex is a thing, and that they remain entirely oblivious to everything sexual before then.
But, of course, that is beyond absurd. Children notice that boys and girls are different before they're in preschool. Puberty starts around 9 to 12. I myself started masturbating when I was 11. Women, when surveyed about the first time they realized men were attracted to them, say they were about 13 at the time. That's the time frame we're talking about.
Finding a 15 year old who's completely oblivious about sex is virtually impossible. Which brings us back here. The game doesn't make her the subject of men's attentions until she is 15. That's pretty on-point for the type of society she appears to live in.
The game isn't "about a child". It's about a girl growing up from 10 to 18, and she's only going to be a child for a few of those 8 years. If you read the literal title of the game, it's about her marrying a prince. How do you make a game that's about a girl marrying a prince while completely ignoring sexual dynamics?
This isn't a porn game, but it's not the weird "people are children until they're 18" fantasy of some weird adult with mental hangups about sex either. There isn't going to be a focus on sexuality, but it's not going to have zero sexuality either.
IMO there's just about the correct amount.
