Its just a release for a new generation on console mainly with the Steam version more of a bonus.
I dont think that you really need to buy this if you are happy with the Refine version, its not like you get a new game or a remake.
I will get it if its like 15 bucks or so because full controller support is nice for playing on my Rog Ally but if its more expensive i put it on my wishlist and get it someday when it falls below that pricepoint.
new artwork for endings and vacations (most of them differ from the DOS ones) NOT FOR SPRITES
you can look at your daughter's stats on the right without needing to open another menu
new ost (?)
we don't know if new intro is included, but we can assume so.
What to do: if ya already have Refine and ya can stand the translation, don't buy.
if ya don't, buy this new version.
if ya cannot stand censored artwork, play Refine or even better DOS english version (you can find it easily online for free and it has a good script even if it misses few endings ) look them up on the Princess Maker 2 wiki in case
also the balls the devs had to directly say; playstation ver will have to be "adjusted", the other versions will be as initially intended, or something like that from what I read in their original announcement.
I will grab it. Last time I play Refine I couldn't take screenshots.
TRUE LOVE '95 it's also good if you want to take a look. I love them both.
Oh? then nice. That gives a bit more incentive to buy this game aside from loyalty to the franchise
