I can maybe see the "marriage with father" ending ( even though they are not related) but why remove the "marriage with butler" ending? What did Cube do???
In the end just more idiotic Playstation censorship with no reason.
The bust removal was due avoiding the "lolicon crap" that floods things
the marriage with father ending is still viewed as incestuous (even if not blood-related. you don't marry your step-parents as a kid)
Wait.....there is no marriage with cube on this game??? is there a source for it?
Only the Playstation version is censored. Cube can still be married on PC and Switch.
ah ok, that's good...
Why would the game still sale on Switch and Steam uncensored if this was the case?
And stepparents are allowed to marry their kids if they are 18. Its even allowed for an uncle to marry his niece if she is 18. Only direct blood releated is not allowed Brother/Sister Father/Daughter Mother/Son and also half brother/half sister. At least here in Austria and Germany.
I don't know how it goes in PM2, but in PM3 Lisa decides to propose to the player on her own, so it lessens that implication a bit, but still gameplay-wise it seems very groom-y.
I'm not in favor of the censorship, just saying that's probably why they'd do it.
Its the same in PM 2, your daughter confronts you at the end of the game and tells you the only person she loves and wants to marry is you.
The goddess is not really happy about it but comments something like " well, its her choice and if it makes her happy".
They will probably have to cut the Dragon Youth ending too, as the Pills were important for that one.
I can confirm Caldonas posting is completely correct, this is just others(Sony) trying to make an old classic from 1993 fit todays morals which obviously doesn´t do so well. Lets hope not more classics get totally torn apart when people decide to remake it decades later.
Also a friendly reminder: Princess Maker is Fiction, so thats treated difftent anyways, even by seemingly strict child protection laws in certain countries.
BTW: by criminal law you´re already criminally responsible for your actions at age 14 in Germany, even if your sentences may be more lenient, than if you were 18 and an adult by our laws here. So even by our Laws this is no issue. Because the Daughter will not confress love for anyone before the age of 18 ingame, which makes her a full fledged adult by the time she makes decisions there.
