without details it hard to help

please post details about your hardware and the operating system

also tell us at exactly which point it crashes, what it was doing , what you saw

also post the exact warning/error message you are seeing

go to windows application and system events logs and posts what you see there

also post what you see in c:\windows\logs\directx.log

finally post what you see in newest C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Focus Home Interactive\Cities XL 2012\log

where <username> is your username

also when you run the game please make sure you do run cities xl 2011/cities xl 2012 but the lastest cities xl platinum

LOL? My game crashes everytime I try to decrease the framerate >_< I have to be in the 60 fps settings otherwise it crashes after 3 seconds everytime I load a game. Hope it helps some people!

(I guess it's the fps right? when you choose 1900x1600x60 and not 1900x1600x40)

the game runs great ok, so its something else

post what you see at bottom of last log file in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Focus Home Interactive\Cities XL 2012\log

without you posting the exact error and details about your computer hardware nobody can help you

plus verify game cache
make sure prerequisites ran
and that your system and drivers are all up to date
