Alot of the reviews here have obviously never played a game by Mdickie.

This is another PC port of one of MDickies old mobile games, my favorite one infact, on my android emulator I have over 500 hours in this game, just from playing it on and off for so long, and im happy I can finally use steam to play it.

It runs at around 25-35 fps it IS a PC port of a mobile game after all, there are frame drops if to much happens on screen, but its only by a few for me, it could vary for you though.

This game is the sequel to MDickies Island survival game Wrecked, where you survive. on an island. It was in my opinion a glorified tech demo of this game, as this game took everything wrecked did and made it 10x better.

This game has no story except for the one you create, there is no end, even if you clear the entire map of zombies, the game continues, it doesn't applaud you, it doesn't congratulate you, it just keeps going.

Although the game never ends there is sort of a goal, but its completely up to you, when starting a new game you can choose how much of the map you wanted to be infested with zombies, from 5% to 100% I personally like to do 50-50 just so its a fair fight.

The customization in this game is amazing aswell. Although the characters may look like paper cutouts you can make pretty much anything you want to, anime characters, movie characters, super heroes, anything, you can customize each and every part of your characters paper cut out body, and even customize stats.

The game also comes with a built in editor, where you can edit every single character in the game to your hearts content, you can even edit their relationships from their sidekick, to their lover, to their friend and enemy, which really gives you the ability to create your own stories.

This game is all about making your own fun, they throw you into the world with no goal or tutorial on your screen, other characters can give you side quests and missions, but there is nothing that is mandatory in this game.

There are 10 "Groups" or "Cliques" you can choose to be apart of when creating your character, you can also be recruited into these by other members (you can also be banished if you break their rules)

- Loners
Pretty much unaffiliated, you can't be kicked out of this group like all of the others, so if you wanna kill everyone around this one is recommended.

- Masters
Their like monks/demi-gods, they can cure zombies by hugging them, meditate to regenerate their hunger and health, and don't really take kindly to fighting, the most OP group in the game by far and if you attack one they most likely won't even fight back due to their strict rule on peace.

- Natives
Natives return from another MDickie game known as wrecked, their from a foreign island, and lore wise their island has been infested/destroyed (not really clear) they hate everyone who isn't a native and the only reason their even included here is because I feel like MDickie was to lazy to remove them and add a different group, there are no upsides or downsides to this one really.

- Survivors
Survivors are, well, survivors. They band together to survive and kill the zombies, and love helping each other out, but if you kill an ex survivor if they turn to a zombie, they could get angry and banish you from the group and turn against you, pretty good group to join if your a fan of that Walking Dead aesthetic.

- Civilians
Civilians are pretty much just survivors, but worse, their similiar to the loner group in the fact that just because your a civilian doesn't mean they will help you, its iffy with them, no reason to join this one unless you just wanna be referred to as a civilian.

- Protestors
Protestors are completely against killing zombies and still view them as humans, they will purposely let zombies infect them and attack anyone they see killing zombies, absolutely a no joining this one, there is no upside except being banished from the group if you kill a zombie.

- Fighters
In my opinion their the best group, they actively fight the zombies, unlike the survivors who are just trying to survive. The fighters want to rid the world of zombies and applaud you for doing so.

- Soldiers
Soldiers are soldiers pretty much, kinda like the fighters but just with an army aesthetic if you want it.

- Rogues
Rogues are just villianous survivors who kill both humans and zombies for fun and sport, they love the apocalypse and are do whatever they please, upside to this group is you can kill whoever you want (as long as it isn't a rogue) and they will applaud you for it, unlike other groups who will get mad if you kill a human sometimes, even if they attacked you first.

- Zombies
Zombies are the zombies, thats it, thats all, everyone from the other groups can become infected and become a zombie, you will be apart of this group if you get infected

Overall its a pretty fun game and I love it, hence why I went so in depth about in this review, for $4 you can get a major amount of content from this game

I judged the game too soon & I after putting an extra few hours into the game I can admit I was wrong, the game is fun once you get used to the health & sanity meter, I still feel it drains too fast but have found an exploit that has made the game a whole lot more fun & I am now on Day 46 & have over a dozen Survivors held up in the Arcade zone & we just had a huge war with both the Zombies & the Protestors, oddly satisfying taking out the protestors with Flamethrowers & Shotguns. Brutally violent game that I NOW highly recommend.

getting infected and being a zombie is actually so depressing because im just desperately trying to crawl to get the cure and then ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rick grimes and robocop start absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ violating and brutally exploding all my limbs, MDickie games ARE GOATED (also a 3D version of this game would actually be so sick)

Id appreciate if the developers cut down on the npc dialog. it gets pretty annoying when you are getting killed and an npc decides to talk to you and prevent you from fitting off the attack.

This may be just a zombie game, but this changed my impact on zombies for the rest of my life. I was a Loner name Andy Wishnowski and I found myself sleeping in the arcade next to a burger. I knew about the terrifying cautions that lied ahead of me, so I decided to grab some gun that looks like it would be used by Combine and I was on my way. Entering the fair, I saw the most terrifying things I have ever seen in any video game I played, Zombies. I started shooting my laser at it until a horse RAMMED INTO ME BECAUSE IT WANTED TO EAT A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ APPLE THAT I WAS STANDING NEXT TO. Lucky the zombie was most likely scared by my brawns and beauty and tried running away, which was just met with more laser blasts. A man who looked like General Genocide from MDickie's other powerful games started beating up the zombie I was trying to kill, so I let him do his thing and made my way in to the prison yard. Where I killed my first zombie, feeling proud of myself, I decided to throw dynamite at a car, I don't remember why I did it, maybe I was trying to light off some fireworks? Who knows, but I decided to go in to the prison and found Michelle Obama locked up smoking a cigarette. I guess I got pranked because it said there was zombies in there but not a single one was in sight. Ran up to the rooftop and some grandma started talking about how we cant let society crumble. Not happy with her telling me what to do I gave her a little zap of my laser, which threw her back in to a box. Nerd. I kept killing zombies with my overpowered RNG laser. That was until I made my way in to the schoolyard (I think?) I was doing the same old killing, until it finally ran out of ammo. This was the scariest ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing that could happen to anyone in any video game. I decided to put my wrestling empire training to work and started kicking a zombie's ass. I feel kind of bad because it didnt have arms or legs but that's what you get for being a zombie, doofus. About mid way through my beating session, my RNG gave me a kiss, and blessed me with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ chainsaw. I made my way in to the arena where I discovered a glitch, if you drive a car into the ring, exit the car, and walk into it, you can phase right through it. It was all fun then someone blew me up with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rocket launcher??? I died and became a zombie, but that's alright.

10/10 would get betrayed again
