Brazil IP block , --
first sorry for my bad english .

Brazil received IP block from Ragnarok 2 , so we "can't play" (actually we can, cause the current IP block is very easy to avoid ) and buy kafra points , it's a questin of time for Warp portal upgrade the IP block and remove all of us from the server. Level up Games is the Guilty for that, they asked to Warp port for Block brazilians cause they "sell" Ragnarok 1 here, and want make the same with Rag 2 . It's RIdiculous cause the rest of world play it free and us will have to pay....

The Warp portal's E-mail "explaining" the situatios to BR's

Guys , first of all , thank you for give your opnion , its very important

. Its not about Lag , its about a company (level up games) forbid a entire country to play free in a GLOBAL server . for god sake, we are potential players/customers , many of us tried spent money buying kafra points .

Won 5000 CAD split between 5 players when I was 17 in counter-strike 1.6. Won 12,000 total in source. Only won 500 in LoL.

How do you get better by playing versus casuals?

Also there is a big difference between knowing there is a big chance for you to lag and choosing to play anyways, and not knowing you're going to lag. If you're far from the server for example, that's a big indicator you're probably going to lag.

Team games, team games.

Many asian companies, including gravity, have that old archaic mindset. Just how many good japanese anime-based games never saw, and see, the light of release here in the Americas?

I know Gravity just looks at our complains and go "mah, next, irrelevant". Most major companies do. Warp Portal is just one in the path to Gravity, not able to do anything. Just follow orders.

The guy doesn't understand how wrong he is. Judging people's worth by how they lag. Never giving up into complaining about something that was already kicked out.

"Competitive" players. The reason I quit Rankeds in LoL (and quit HON years back). They lost? They feel the need to disrespect, humiliate, stomp you to death and beyond. Respect just took a fatal blow there.

And as they say "My Internet <you know what> just got bigger because I WON!".

Yeah....

Most BR player do.

I don't want to resort to proxies to play this.

Darknight, every one can be a customer. The problem is Gravity doesn't want Brazillians for customers at the moment. Every company has a right to refuse service.

Pretty much this:
- I will play on IRO2, no way i'll change to bRO2 if it ever comes out.
- If my acc get banned or some ip ban is done, I'll quit it (bRO2? No, thank you.)
- I won't put a single cent on the game until they garantee my current acc won't be banned or i'll be blocked by ip

Simple as that. If they want to lose my contribution as a customer (as of a great number of BRs/some other areas, it is their call).
I could simply use some sort of proxy if some sort of ip block came into play, but meh. Prefer to quit in that case.

KSA, Gravity really doesnt care.
KSA Technology [YASD] 2013 年 5 月 31 日 下午 6:07
As I don't care anymore.

But one thing that just came to my mind: have you considered the number of BR/Other Regions who have a high chance to be blocked and have already expend money in this game via Steam (when the Kafra Points system was working) without even knowing they could be blocked?

Zero, because if they where IP blocked, they would have to use a proxy or knowingly change their Steam region in order to play. You and those players made the choice to circumvent the block. Therefore if action is taken against you, it is your fault.
KSA Technology [YASD] 2013 年 5 月 31 日 下午 7:10
Well, I didn't change my region to play at all.
Friend was playing. Launch Game. Game Installed. Account Created.
Can be replicated with blank new account as far as I know.

Number of changes done in order to play the game: 0.
Number of proxies used: 0.
Download Region: Brazil. As always has been.

Rule number 1: Know the facts first. Saves issues.
Number of people who didn't knew the facts: 1 or more.
Too bad, you lose.

I'm sorry I didn't realize we where competing to be right. If you can play, you can play. So why would you create such a ruckus if you could play in the first place?

Well, it isn't better for people to know the facts about something instead of guessing what could have happened?
People think that "not on the supported area" may just be cheating their way in with proxies and such, when it is not the truth at all.

Have you ever wondered that explaining what really happened is better instead of imaginating what could have been? You guess stuff wrong, I just decided to clarify it.

There is no competition to be right. The more facts we know, the best it is for everyone.
nux 2013 年 5 月 31 日 下午 9:24
Well when you say "too bad you loose" that sounds pretty competative to me.

Regardless, you can play. But dont go and start throwing WarpPortal or Gravity under the bus about it if their IP block doesn't work. If anything you made them realize it's not working and they're going to fix it.
KSA Technology [YASD] 2013 年 5 月 31 日 下午 9:52
I'm just trying to put a more fun attitude since this discussion won't get anywhere anyway (even since that xenophobic no-lag! guy).

Do you really believe they didn't knew about out of the area people until now? Some other topics even had BR people saying "I can't buy!" even before this topic was even here. They aren't that stupid, you know. Even some japanese guy posted ON WARP PORTAL FORUMS that he was able to play when Japan is region blocked too.
It isn't new.

Also one thing that most of the non-br may not know. When RO2 was released on Steam, there was an IP Block preventing BR players from playing the game (you REQUIRED a proxy to play), but they LIFTED IT around a week or so later.
