How do you get better by playing versus casuals?
Also there is a big difference between knowing there is a big chance for you to lag and choosing to play anyways, and not knowing you're going to lag. If you're far from the server for example, that's a big indicator you're probably going to lag.
Team games, team games.
I know Gravity just looks at our complains and go "mah, next, irrelevant". Most major companies do. Warp Portal is just one in the path to Gravity, not able to do anything. Just follow orders.
The guy doesn't understand how wrong he is. Judging people's worth by how they lag. Never giving up into complaining about something that was already kicked out.
"Competitive" players. The reason I quit Rankeds in LoL (and quit HON years back). They lost? They feel the need to disrespect, humiliate, stomp you to death and beyond. Respect just took a fatal blow there.
And as they say "My Internet <you know what> just got bigger because I WON!".
Yeah....
I don't want to resort to proxies to play this.
( yes , we are potential players/costumersl)
- I will play on IRO2, no way i'll change to bRO2 if it ever comes out.
- If my acc get banned or some ip ban is done, I'll quit it (bRO2? No, thank you.)
- I won't put a single cent on the game until they garantee my current acc won't be banned or i'll be blocked by ip
Simple as that. If they want to lose my contribution as a customer (as of a great number of BRs/some other areas, it is their call).
I could simply use some sort of proxy if some sort of ip block came into play, but meh. Prefer to quit in that case.
But one thing that just came to my mind: have you considered the number of BR/Other Regions who have a high chance to be blocked and have already expend money in this game via Steam (when the Kafra Points system was working) without even knowing they could be blocked?
Friend was playing. Launch Game. Game Installed. Account Created.
Can be replicated with blank new account as far as I know.
Number of changes done in order to play the game: 0.
Number of proxies used: 0.
Download Region: Brazil. As always has been.
Rule number 1: Know the facts first. Saves issues.
Number of people who didn't knew the facts: 1 or more.
Too bad, you lose.
People think that "not on the supported area" may just be cheating their way in with proxies and such, when it is not the truth at all.
Have you ever wondered that explaining what really happened is better instead of imaginating what could have been? You guess stuff wrong, I just decided to clarify it.
There is no competition to be right. The more facts we know, the best it is for everyone.
Regardless, you can play. But dont go and start throwing WarpPortal or Gravity under the bus about it if their IP block doesn't work. If anything you made them realize it's not working and they're going to fix it.
Do you really believe they didn't knew about out of the area people until now? Some other topics even had BR people saying "I can't buy!" even before this topic was even here. They aren't that stupid, you know. Even some japanese guy posted ON WARP PORTAL FORUMS that he was able to play when Japan is region blocked too.
It isn't new.
Also one thing that most of the non-br may not know. When RO2 was released on Steam, there was an IP Block preventing BR players from playing the game (you REQUIRED a proxy to play), but they LIFTED IT around a week or so later.
