Finally managed to get past warp portal but now I can't register an account

It just won't accept ANYTHING I put for the User ID. I've tried so many different user names that I know for a fact can't be taken and every time it either just shows a red exclamation mark with no explanation as to why I can't choose that user ID or it just does nothing at all. I eventually decided to close the launcher and open it again to see if it made a difference and now I'm stuck back at the warp portal waiting... Seriously, how have you managed to make THE worst game launcher to ever exist after working on the game for so long?

me 2, i had taken 4 hours to waiting for register page. But it never accept any of ID name. I promise I won't pay any cash for this ♥♥♥♥ ever with this terrible service!!

Anyone who's surprised by an MMO having issues at launch, hasn't been around the internet very long. This is standard procedure for these types of games. They'll be up within 6-18 hours of the initial problem, people will lose their ♥♥♥♥ inbetween then, it will be generally stable within 24-48 hours, then people will calm down and act like it never happened.

i even went on the website to make an account so i could skip this, but they dont even give you that option.

Like I said, the registration servers are down. You can't register until they get the server that handles the registrations back up.

You can register at www.warpportal.com. You make an account there, then make an account through their site for Ragnarok 2. Once youv'e done that, instead of launching the game from the steam client launch it from the installation folder. You can get to the game's login in that way and enter the username you created. The only problem is, once I got there, background/textures were missing from the game and I can't even see my character to create it.

Yep, just downloaded and cannot register for new account, both on the Steam and Warportal website... I guess it is to be expected on launch date? haha! Going to get some sleep and try again tomorrow!

Apparently the registration servers are down. This entire 'launch' has been a disaster, by far the worst I've seen, even among free to play games.

Compared to Diablo III or Sim City, I'd consider this launch smooth.

Considering Blizzard and EA's registration servers weren't affected by their game's launch I'd say this is pretty rough, especially since they're working together with Steam...

Anyone got any luck with the website from Warp Portal? I only get "Please enable JavaScript" (It is enabled btw.) when clicking on register after entering everything...

Well it is free to play and obviously you didn't play in the SEA release, it was pretty bad.
