**Updated**

1 - ok go into "\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Ragnarok Online 2" and find the file "RO2Client.exe" right click and run as administrator.

2 - Close launcher dont update!

3 - Download "https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B6opckH1SGzfM2JjVTRmT0x2eDA/edit?pli=1" or "https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/4276246/RO2_Updates.zip" and move into your patches folder "\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Ragnarok Online 2\Patches"

4 - go to "https://www.warpportal.com/account/registration.aspx and register an account."

5 - Log into your email and hit the link you have been sent to confirm your email

6 - once logged into warp portal, in chrome, firefox etc go to "create new game account" and choose Ragnarok 2.

7 - create your account

8 - Launch the game using the "\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Ragnarok Online 2\RO2Client.exe" or a shortcut to it. Launch with admin !

9 - login and play!

Whats even better Sparks - We're now being told to redownload because its an issue with the primary steam download that is now "fixxed" - so just sepnt an hour redownloading / reinstalling - to find the same issue. Seriously RO2 - just tell everyone to shut down, turn of your stuff / fix the issues and reopen downloads tmoz. Dragging people further and further into waisting their time by prolonging the very poorly thoughtout process. / why are we even patching? Its only just been released! how fail does somthing have to be that it needs fixxing before its even given to people. *face desk*

@Bleam, your kidding me? where did you find this out?, btw Ro2 online site and warpportal are different accounts, don't bother with any registration till warpportal is back up apparently

finally got tipped off on how to get the game updated and past launcher, now i cant access the site to make an account.../facepalm i assume its the same for everyone?

Pretty much any MMO release with some relative minor hype goes through day one problems. Nothing new.

Shame MMO's seem to have these problems all the time... im sure there will be a game released at some point without these problem...
