Sparkster Nov 7, 2013 @ 4:16pm

I found it dying for me. I like the series, I like the chars, I don't like that 99% of my missions are "kill this, collect that off their body," or "talk to him/her."

Then to pay money on top of that? At least things are kind of cheap, but when all you do is the same thing yet 50m along the path each step, it's not worth it still.

^Pretty much sums it up. I also hated it that they made the game linear, there's a first and second town whereas in RO1 you were tossed around the globe in cities far from each other depending on the class you chose at the beginning. You could also level anywhere you wanted instead of literally always following what an npc told you to do.

BEen playing and am now level 11, lost a couple hours, not even decent fun.
Developers throwed away evey good stuff about Ragnarok online 1 and replaced it with MMO generic stuff....mining and plant picking WOWlike??? really? im at level 11 and have 2 skills as thief...which dont even seem like skills...

Also...i have 8GB RAM, a Core i3, a Radeon 7900 Series, a SSD OCZ Agility 3 and im always loosing FPS? with game all on low except resolution? i then change to Defiance with everything on medium/High and play without hicups......

Thank you for the game but it clearly isnt the sucessor of RO1.

It's not dead but it's not full either, i could say the population is medium at best. RO1 seems to be much more lively than this one.

Game isn't mediocre but don't expect to be epic like the first one was when it first launched, still an "ok" game to kill some time if you don't have anything better to play.

Korea RO2 is going to close down in 23 December 2013 after 1 year and 9 month of service (without considering beta test). Wonder how long other service (SEA, US and EU) will last..

I like this game but every patch is a pain in the *** seems to play a beta when they add new content then crash everything else it's frustrating i hope in a change soon or i'll stop playng for absence of party members

It would be ashame if it closed really. It's a nice free, small game, feels fun if you miss old school MMOs. Didn't really force me to pay for anything either. I'm going to be sticking around until it closes I think :)
Now when it comes to it being full, it annoyingly is. It's probably because the maps are so small, but it feels really populated.
To all of those that complain about the game though - it's totally free, if you didn't like it, you didn't lose anything either.

game seems dead as a door nail. I play to lvl 20 and couldn't find a single person interested in doing low level dungeons. half the fun of an MMO is the leveling and doing the low levels along the way. Don't expect to find that here.
