good concept...love the game but if u plan on being competitive..Colo/WoE/PvE u need VIP and to get high upgrade weapons u need to pay aswell
Then to pay money on top of that? At least things are kind of cheap, but when all you do is the same thing yet 50m along the path each step, it's not worth it still.
thats what i exactly felt, when i played it.
^Pretty much sums it up. I also hated it that they made the game linear, there's a first and second town whereas in RO1 you were tossed around the globe in cities far from each other depending on the class you chose at the beginning. You could also level anywhere you wanted instead of literally always following what an npc told you to do.
Developers throwed away evey good stuff about Ragnarok online 1 and replaced it with MMO generic stuff....mining and plant picking WOWlike??? really? im at level 11 and have 2 skills as thief...which dont even seem like skills...
Also...i have 8GB RAM, a Core i3, a Radeon 7900 Series, a SSD OCZ Agility 3 and im always loosing FPS? with game all on low except resolution? i then change to Defiance with everything on medium/High and play without hicups......
Thank you for the game but it clearly isnt the sucessor of RO1.
Game isn't mediocre but don't expect to be epic like the first one was when it first launched, still an "ok" game to kill some time if you don't have anything better to play.
Korea RO2 is going to close down in 23 December 2013 after 1 year and 9 month of service (without considering beta test). Wonder how long other service (SEA, US and EU) will last..
Now when it comes to it being full, it annoyingly is. It's probably because the maps are so small, but it feels really populated.
To all of those that complain about the game though - it's totally free, if you didn't like it, you didn't lose anything either.
