Which is best? Crescentia or Soul Maker?
I haven't try playing as a Noel Alter before, So I was thinking of giving it a try.

I also wondering which Job Profession is good for Noel Alter?

I guess it depends on your playing style. Soul Makers make for good healers with some dps as well (though no where near like Crescentia). Crescentias have lethal dot attacks but can't really heal. If you prefer to be able to heal (and their heal over time is better than priests, lasts much longer) go for Soul Maker. If you want to dish out damage go Crescentia. Just keep in mind the sp consumption on both (especially Soul Makers) is...well...not the best...

If you go Crescentia go strength, Int, and vitality and get the Pandora scythe it is the best for dishing out damage until you get to master level its worth spending the zeny. Soulmaker is more popular in dungeon parties but I like the Cresentias independance. Like the previous poster said it just depends what you like.

Crescentia actually has the best pets because pet attack is equal to the Pattack+Mattack and crescentia has both!!!!!

I would say artisan so you can make armor that is better than what the npc vendors sell (minus some of the statue cats) and my Cresentia gets frequent armor changes.
Blacksmith isnt that handy in my opinion for Noels, if you have that job on another character you can make the Cresentia a couple of nice scythes before level 40 but the Pandora scythe is better than any of the Blacksmith recipies iv'e seen.
Potions is ok if you dont want artisan but i find that the advanced potions over lv 40 are not worth the price and objects to make them unless im trying to level or dungeon. Just my opinions so hope that helps u.
