Patching Error

I just downloaded the game, and at seemingly random points during the patching process I get a message saying "Post Patch File Corrupted. Please Restart Launcher or Re-Install RO2" I have restarted the launcher numerous times, and even reinstalled the game once, and I still get this message. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Oh, and if it is relevant, I am running Windows 7

probably one of the update files got corrupted. Delete the file that gives you error under your "Ragnarok Online II\Patches" folder, if that don't work then delete all files and try again. If that also fail then edit on any text editor the file "Ragnarok Online II\Version.dat" to previous versions to force patch a previous update. Now if everything failed then you either check RO2's cache or reinstall it.

Well, now it patched just fine. Apparently all I had to do was literally close everything else and not do anything on the computer aside from patching. Now I am getting a different problem. The game freezes during the loading screen before entering the game, after selecting a character.

mmm... that can be many things...
this game uses Nvidia Physx and Visual C++ Redist 2010, so check if you have them installed.
