Hello, out of curiosity, is Error 2 popping up?

If it is, we were aware of the issue and it should have been resolved this morning. If you are still having the issue you may need to restart your computer. You may also need to force a Re-patch in regards to this matter. Instructions on how to do that may be found here: {LINK REMOVED}

A solution that worked for me was that I went to the Ragnarok Online 2 directory, opened the text file "MD5FileList.txt", deleted everything, then saved. After that I went to properties, and made the text file read-only.

Then I was able to launch the game.

Hope this works for you!

WORKED

allowed patcher to launch anyways. patching now :D <3

WINDOWS 7

for those needing more details go into ur drive and find where u installed ragnarok online 2- for me its the default

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Ragnarok Online 2

find the .txt file mentioned- not to be confused with the same name file.tmp

open it and delete everything (highlight/backspace) and hit save.

now go back to the file and right click - go to properties and make read only.

Relaunch ur game

Try going back into the game folder, and either rename the WPLauncher.exe to "WPLaucher-BK" or move it somewhere else. Then rename RO2Client.exe to WPLaunher.exe.

Steam opens the WPLauncher.exe, and before I did this I got something similiar as you. After renaming the files, things were fine.

I hope you can finally play!

I am experiencing the same problem and after doing this it still gives the same dialog box error that does not contain anything :steamsad:
