GLQuake?

Can I use the Steam version in combination with GLQuake? I would like to try this on a Windows 98 SE retro gaming PC. Did the original version have audio CD tracks? I guess they won't work then.

You sure can. You do need to replace the original execution files though. Because the Steam release execution files are only limited to Steam only.

You can get the same exact ones that the Steam version offers here.

Besides those two files, you can then simply move the rest of the files from the Steam version to your windows 98 computer. Everything should boot up properly.

As for the soundtrack, you can simply burn it to a CD/DVD (Most likely a CD due to a Windows 98 computer) and then put it into you're computer CD drive, it will read it off that.

Make sure you name each song like this though before burning it onto a CD.

And so on. Quake does not read TRACK000 or 001 at all. So keep it like I listed above.
