Not available in Germany?

I get the following when I try to look at the game on the store page:

I read on some sites that the game has previously been blocked in Germany but should be available now. Why is this not the case on steam? Is there no way for me to get it legally?

Try websites selling steam games or ask one of your friends living outside Germany to buy it for you as gift.
So there actually is few workarounds, just a bit of creativity needed ;-)

Steam is lazy when it comes to re-publishing games that have already been available in other countries. In case you didn't notice, there are quite a few games that are not available, or only in a horribly cut version, especially id Software games. For a comprehensive list of these games, visit this forum and the site that has been linked in it.

Also, visit steamtrades.com in order to get some good offers for these kind of games, or PM me, I know a guy who could provide you with some sleek deals =]

It is not because of steam, it is because of stupid german law.

Do you remember problem of one mission in cod? It was cutted out in german version of the game.

Although it was the fault of the German law that these games did not make it onto our Steam in the first place, it is Steam's fault now, because for example DOOM was recently allowed to be openly sold in Germany again, after about 20 years. > It's still not on Steam, and probably never will be.

even tho you will already have the game, forgot or stopped getting it. The Uplay store sells all of them. idk why german steam doesnt

Dahec. It’s still not available to this day. I quite literally have one of the game in my wishlist and I can’t open the shop due to being in the German shop region

On steam? The only way I found to get it is over the sleep paralysis demon named Uplay/Ubisoft shop
